Frequento questo locale dagli anni 90, l' ambiente è bello in legno ed accogliente. Il servizio è veloce ed il personale sempre simpatico e disponibile. Non c'è un solo piatto buono, sono tutti buoni. Dal classico riso alla cantonese, al manzo alla piastra, al pollo alle mandorle, ottimi anche i ravioli, così pure l' anatra, i gnocchi di riso o gli spaghetti di riso nelle sue varianti. È uno dei storici ristoranti cinesi di Trieste che ha da sempre un cibo di qualità. Consiglio la prenotazione soprattutto nei week end.

Ristorante ottimo e low cost, ci vado spesso e questa ultima volta l'ho trovato leggermente meno curato del solito. Il cibo era buono e i servizi andavano bene, essendo sola la proprietaria che cucinava e gestiva gli ordini con solo una cameriera e il locale quasi pieno si doveva aspettare un po'. Unica cosa negativa è l'assenza dello scontrino e i conti fatti con la calcolatrice (senza una cassa professionale apposita)... prima erano 25 euro di conto poi sono diventati 27.

18/05/2024: welcoming place, with outdoor garden, quiet location, very friendly staff. There were two of us and we took a portion of aubergine parmigiana prepared with first choice ingredients, stringy mozzarella, cooked to perfection. the other course consisted of linguine with clams, a very tasty dish, pasta at the right point of cooking and plenty of clams. worth mentioning are the canapés with creamed cod, absolutely worth trying, all "washed down" with a liter of spritz. the apple strudel is good. total dinner 43.50 euros, perhaps the only downside was the price of the portion of strudel (4.50 euros per piece), especially when compared to the price of the other courses. in any case, the tavern passed with flying colors!
05/05/2024: Absolutely must try! For a short holiday in Trieste, we wanted a homely and popular place, but not of poor quality.... The social tavern is just like that!!! Lovely little place, we ate in a small garden in an area outside the historic center and the tourist spots, but delicious and hilly! Excellent food, from the sardonic breaded and savored to the homemade gnocchi with cuttlefish sauce... Amazing! Good house wine and fast and very friendly table service! Well done these guys 💪🤩 Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/04/2024: In all respects, it is a perfect choice if you are not looking for restaurants geared towards tourists, but for the real local atmosphere. Very delicious food and nice service.
11/04/2024: The pizza is excellent, but you already know this thanks to those who were able to try it before me. I'm writing this review today for a reason other than food. I am writing this to thank those who, with extreme kindness and humility, welcomed me and made me feel at home. I would like to thank you by name, but I was too shy to ask you what your name was. I hope that my gratitude reaches you anyway, one way or another. Today the world is full of malice, long faces and annoyed people: you don't know it but, with your kindness and your never invasive friendliness, you have been a ray of light in this solitary day of mine in which I try to cure deep wounds. I had lunch alone, it's true, but I had the perception that you were watching over me, as a father would do for a daughter. And this filled my heart with gratitude. THANK YOU!
