We came on Saturday evening for dinner to celebrate an anniversary,
First of all, we were greeted, both by the owner and by the waiters, with a lot of class and friendliness.
The location is enchanting to say the least, an old farmhouse furnished in antique style, with a romantic and convivial atmosphere at the same time.
When you enter, the first thing that catches your eye at the entrance is a considerable number of wine bottles on display and old slicers from the past.
Once seated at the table we were served a welcome aperitif, which consisted of a bread crouton with dried tomato and anchovy mousse, a mini croissant with lamb and rice cream and a breaded polteta, accompanied by a small glass of liqueur.
As an appetizer we had:
the 4 in 1
that is, a piece of fassone and hazelnut moionese, veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad with tuna belly, roasted peppers with anchovy
First we took:
A risotto with asparagus and agretti
A panissa with beans and duja salami
As a second we took:
Duck breast in sweet and sour sauce
A real beef cooked for a long time in Nebbiolo and crunchy polenta
All accompanied by a bottle of wine
Barbera passito with overripe grapes from 2021.
If you want to spend a romantic evening as a couple or an evening in the company of friends without the chaos and general chatter and enjoy excellent expertly cooked food, this is the right place.

Place found by chance.. Great discovery.. very welcoming, very high professionalism, excellent quality.. being in the rice field area.. obviously we chose the risotto in the form of parmesan.. really good! If you pass by here... go and visit them... it's not cheap but it has the right price for the quality!

Exceptional!
My friend Natasha gave me a great gift for her 50th birthday; we had lunch together in this amazing restaurant, with attention to the smallest details, excellent quality of food and superb cellar.

Balin è sempre una garanzia per tutto ! cucina sempre sul pezzo , servizio celere e molto ben gestito , tutto è sempre al posto giusto.
Ottimo il pre appetizer offerto con un buon campari e ghiaccio . Menù tipico della tradizione vercellese , con immancabile panissa , oppure il riso mantecato nella forma di grana .. e tantissimi piatti degni di nota.
Personalmente , immancabile il Tamahawk di maiale con formaggio e prosciutto cotto (spettacolo puro). Buonissimi anche gli antipasti misti della tradizione. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ! Super consigliato.

Dopo qualche anno siamo ritornati in questo ristorante, sperduto nella campagna vercellese. Che dire? Solo confermare l’ottimo ricordo della mia precedente visita: menù di qualità, proposte stuzzicanti, ottima cantina, servizio informale ed impeccabile, ambiente famigliare e caldo.
