The pasta was very good, but the clams had some sand in them, it was unpleasant eating sand. But the waiters were very kind people.

I came here for the first time while studying abroad two months ago and everything, from the food to the service, was fantastic. However, after returning for a second time, our server was quite rude, and it ruined the entire experience. We were the only Americans in his section, and he was pleasant with every table except ours. I probably won’t return. It’s unfortunate that one server ruined this restaurant for me.

Tried to escape the crazy crowds in Florence today and stumbled upon this little gem by complete accident! Totally our lucky day! It certainly is deceptive from the outside, but it truly is the best secret in this area of Florence, in the back streets near the duomo! We had appetizers to start with which were the Insalata caprese and the swordfish carpaccio (which was just devine. So fresh and tasty) Then we had a Primo PIATTO of Penne with Gorgonzola and Pear and my husband had the porcini mushroom risotto! Absolutely cooked to perfection! It is well worth the visit to Ristorante da Lino. It’s very authentic and traditional cuisine and You won’t be disappointed!

Meat lovers, stop The cuts of beef are fabulous, tender and super well prepared Brunello di Montalcino wine was the best I drank in Florence Impeccable welcome and service

My rating for this restaurant is decidedly high as it satisfied me completely. Nice and quiet location (I hate noisy places). High quality food (the best cut ever eaten). Friendly and fast service. I will definitely go back.

Cena di sabato sera. Locale in centro vicino al Teatro Verdi. Pizze gourmet buonissime anche se molto molto care. Fortunatamente avevo prenotato con The Fork al 50%. Bistecca buona e pure i primi.

Prenotato alla ceca , solo guardando recensioni , visto che dovevamo ancora arrivare in città e volevamo la certezza di trovare posto , prenotato con the Fork. Bel locale , accogliente , personale e chef disponibile a cambiamenti , anche se il menù era ricco di pietanze , ma avendo bambine , abbiamo richiesto cose più semplici.Piatti abbondanti e di qualità.Locale in centro anzi in centrissimo.Consiglio

07/04/2024: It's been a while since I visited Florence and I went again♡ It's still delicious I visited after 2pm and luckily I was able to use it right away without a reservation. T-bone steak (it says 55 euros on the menu), Gamberi pasta, beer, cola The seat fee was 2.5 per person, so it came out to 98 euros. The bread before the meal was just okay. I thought it was paid, but it was free. The T-bone steak was too much for two women to eat, so we had some left over. The taste of gamberry pasta comes to mind again. The staff asked me if I had any allergies and was friendly.

26/05/2024: The maximum score. We have been coming to Borgo San Lorenzo regularly for 15 years. We are huge fans of good food and wine and thought we knew the best restaurants in the area by now. How is it possible that we kept walking past this fantastic place in the historic center? The restaurant is located slightly back, under the hotel of the same name (different owner). The entrance is very modest. Only once you are inside, past the reception, do you see how much love and care the restaurant has been decorated with. Everything has been thought of: nice chairs, beautiful glasses, ... We were surprised. And we hadn't even eaten yet! The dishes came with matching wine, served by the glass. We enjoyed an amuse bouche, starter, main course and dessert. It is really high dining - gastronomy - for the price of an average Dutch restaurant. So good and tasteful. Fantastic host and chef. If you are staying in Borgo San Lorenzo or nearby: dine here at least once during your holiday! Celebrate your birthday, the first or last evening, the sun or life itself here. We will certainly do that from now on!
14/04/2024: A magical place. Where you can feel the warmth of home, go on a culinary journey, dare I say mystical, feel the love and passion that lie behind the works on plate. Highly recommended for lovers of the different, because not everyone would understand the feeling that binds the viewer to these paintings of colors and flavors worth eating. Thank you for the passion you transmit.
