Ristorante Gli Osti... Nati In Fiumefreddo bruzio

Restaurant visited in spring, not too large with a choice of particular furnishings, however suffers from the lack of natural light. The attentive and discreet service. The menu offers a good choice especially of fish, which we appreciated above all for the originality of the proposals, not a gourmet restaurant but a very good cuisine in its simplicity. I really appreciated the possibility of having more paper alternatives that did not include lactose. The wine selection is also good. Generous portions at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

Locale molto carino all'interno. I proprietari molto gentili; festeggiamo con la mia famiglia quasi tutte le ricorrenze ( compleanni, feste, occasioni) e ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Lo chef ci consiglia sempre il pesce fresco, le porzioni sono abbondanti ( qualità prezzo ottimo). Con 50 euro a testa riusciamo a fare un pranzo perfetto, il pesce buonissimo!! Al momento non abbiamo trovato un ristorante di pesce che regge il confronto con gli Ostinati!! Questa recensione se la merita tutta! Ci vediamo il 18 maggio per festeggiare il mio compleanno! Questa volta, tradendo Tripadvisor, abbiamo chiesto consiglio ad amici della zona per un posto dove mangiare bene il pesce. E, devo dire, che il consiglio mai è stato più azzeccato. Ristorante di livello, dove le offerte non sono banali e tradizionali, ma si cerca di proporre piatti nuovi con un tocco di originalità. Come ad esempio i ravioli alla ricciola e calamari scelti dal sottoscritto. Veramente ottimi. Ma anche l'antipasto di mare gratinato, che non è facile trovare nei menù dei ristoranti alle nostre latitudini. Insomma esperienza assolutamente positiva che va, senz'altro, ripetuta. Prezzo in linea con quanto consumato. Ci rivediamo presto.

We had lunch here on our drive north from Sicily. We stopped here because the menu looked interesting and different. But I think the chef is trying too hard to be different. We felt that too many things were going on with each dish. Also, octopus was tough and dry. I now realize that I love Italian food in its simplicity - a few good ingredients cooked to perfection. Bean sprouts on top of our pasta dishes did not work for us... Service was warm and gracious.

It's always nice to go back to eat at the obstinate, everything was excellent, in fact excellent.

You just have to try it. The staff is uniquely kind. The food is spectacular and has a unique flavour. It's a shame to eat them, they're paintings
