A restaurant where you can try a Kaiseki journey prepared with meticulous research and seasonal ingredients. The kindness of the staff is a treat and the chef is incredibly friendly, sociable and takes part in the experience by explaining the dishes and interacting with the guests.

Restaurant where you can savor the true taste of traditional Japanese cuisine with the chef's touch. Intimate venue, few seats and attentive service. Each dish is an explosion of tastes, aromas and flavors that inebriate the palate and transport you to the East. Satoshi Hazama a true artist. I recommend the tasting menu to understand Kaiseki cuisine. We will definitely be back to explore other dishes

Unparalleled experience that goes beyond the cuisine, it’s an emotional journey that makes you connect with the soul of Mr Hazama and his idea of life. The kaiseki courses are the representation of the mastery of the chef, who’s at his best perfectly balancing taste, texture and appearance of the food.
We went on February, thus we got the winter kaiseki menu (no need to make choices, it’s all on the chef’s), starting with a revisited tofu made of white eggs, garnished with shrimps. Then we moved to a light amberjack soup, delicious (the texture of the amberjack was amazing, and so was the flavour of the broth), to open up the taste to a more sophisticated sort of sashimi: supreme quality of the raw ingredients (the yuzu infused ponzu sauce was the perfect match). We kept going with a deep fried panko-like battered fish and then a true kaiseki-style 4 course plate (wagyu, lobster, mushrooms, eel), gorgeous. We finished off with a delicious donburi-like pan fried rice and red mullet, and then we closed with an ice cream with nuts and macha.
Worth to mention the fantastic service (thank you Salvatore) and the fantastic storytelling of the chef. We were pleased and felt pampered.

Hazama is a Japanese restaurant specializing in kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant is very elegant and the refined cuisine is particularly refined. High-quality raw materials and a respectable sake cellar. Over time the prices have increased dramatically, but it remains a valid place for an important dinner.
