Ci siamo andati per motivi affettivi, il locale è storico, ma....almeno a fine stagione, servizio molto lento e poca cura nei dettagli, visti i prezzi molto più alti degli altri ristoranti, altrettanto vista mare.

Nice motorbike room, located on a stilt near the port, with an excellent view. Good food, welcoming staff, the only sore point is the price, a little exaggerated for what was consumed.

Last evening spent for dinner at the Margherita restaurant. Excellent experience. Friendly staff despite the crowds these days which I imagine makes work difficult. Excellent mixed starter, absolutely worth trying. Average prices for the island.

Eaten raw of excellent quality but with very small quantities First ones that tasted of little and cost too much Professional but unsmiling service, I also understand that there were 2 waiters in a full room and that they had to rush but a smile costs nothing. Salty final bill for what the restaurant offers

Era la sera della regata e forse per l’agitazione (il ristorante è nel rione che ha vinto) i camerieri erano molto distratti. A parte la lentezza e la confusione negli ordini, i piatti erano buoni: l’antipasto è bellissimo da vedere (anche se la tartare di salmone sembrava più di pesce affumicato), buoni gli scampi e il fritto. La grigliata molto buona e già pulita!

Osteria La Pace

05/03/2024: Ottima location con bellissima vista sul mare. Ambiente moderno con arredi minimal, tavoli ben distanziati e con servizio di sala professionale e cortese. Menù non ampio con proposte di mare interessanti. Ho cominciato con una buona zuppetta di seppie e patate, con crostini al rosmarino dal sapore equilibrato, a seguire degli ottimi gnocchetti allo scoglio e come dolce una super crema pasticcera con biscotto sbriciolato e frutti di bosco. Non c'è una lista dei vini ma solo calici al bicchiere tra cui ho provato un buon vermentino ligure. Devo dire di aver mangiato bene in un contesto panoramico stupendo con un corretto rapporto qualità prezzo. Penso che sarà tra i miei preferiti a Porto Santo Stefano.
12/10/2023: We had a great time at this place. We are from the US and we were pleased to find the staff was extremely attentive, polite, and spoke excellent English. Not only that, but the wine steward educated us about local wines and helped select some excellent bottles. We returned again for the 2nd night of our stay. When you get service this great in Europe, especially Italy, it's worth going back.
