Very nice restaurant!! Surprisingly large at the back, which you wouldn't expect from the outside!! Very nice and charming staff and extremely good service!! Really delicious food and great dessert!!! And really delicious homemade liqueurs!! I would love to come back and can only recommend it!!

Searching for a restaurant without a reservation on a Sunday in Italy seemed like a daunting task, but fate smiled upon us as we discovered ample space for our party of three. Stepping into La Vecchia Pesa felt like entering a quintessential Italian trattoria or osteria. The atmosphere was relaxed, reminiscent of old-world charm with a modern twist. The spacious interior exuded a sense of warmth and conviviality. Service: The staff at La Vecchia Pesa were not only friendly but also efficient. Our orders were promptly taken, and the servings were generous. What pleasantly surprised us was the complimentary aperitivo and digestivo offered, a thoughtful touch that enhanced our dining experience. Food Quality: From the classic insalata tiepida di polpo e patate to the tantalizing Tartar di tonno, each dish was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. However, it was the pizza that stole the show. The 4 formaggi pizza was not your average supermarket fare. Its generous size and unique charred edges, reminiscent of authentic Neapolitan pizza, made it a true culinary delight. Value for Money: Despite the remarkable quality of food and service, La Vecchia Pesa remains affordable, with pizzas starting from just €7 and main courses ranging from €20 to €30. Very nice restaurant, good food, good ambiance and very good service :)

L'établissement est composé de 3 grandes salles de restauration pleines à craquer. L'accueil est cordial et le service rapide malgré le monde. Les pizzas sont non seulement excellentes, composées de produits frais, et d'une taille énorme (plus de 40 cm de diamètre), le tout pour un prix très raisonnable d'environ 11 €. Une très belle découverte qui se termine par la surprise de voir arriver gratuitement en fin de repas un assortiment de 4 bouteilles de "Limoncello" aux différents parfums. Impossible de revenir à Luino sans y retourner.

Massima disponibilità , velocità e gentilezza di tutto il personale. Siamo stati accolti con aperitivo analcolico ed una grande pizza (eravamo in 4) . La cena è stata ottima e rispecchiava il profumo che diffondeva. Era 31 dicembre e a fine cena ci hanno chiesto se desiderassimo qualcosa in più e sorridendo abbiamo chiesto se ci fosse una fetta di panettone l'avremmo gradita , non avendolo ci è stato risposto che se attendevamo un 10 minuti forse riuscivano soddisfare il ns desiderio e così è stato. Ci sono state offerte bevande alcoliche al limocino, mirto, melone e pistacchio Per il brindisi di mezzanotte ci è stato offerto piatto di lenticchie con salame cotto e spumante. Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti, in nessun altro posto abbiamo mai avuto simile cortesia. Tornerei volentieri e consiglio a tutti di cenarvi
