Typical restaurant with typical Tuscan menu. The place is very characteristic in the center of Pisa. It has seating both outside and inside. Extensive menu with local and non-local dishes. Good quality price. Bring plenty of carefully prepared dishes, wine with a wide choice. Courteous and helpful staff.

We visited on a Monday evening in April, perhaps not the best representation. Having spent a few days in Italy we had experienced some wonderful food and I'm sorry to say this was not as wonderful. It was nice, it was ok but not amazing. I'm certainly not an expert but it didn't seem that authentic. We had lasagna and Santa Maria wine. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, just not sure it was worth the price tag.

A very good and friendly place: the foot is typical and excellent, the staff is very kind and efficient, and the restaurant is very close to the Pise tower. We got à very pleasant time.
