The place immediately appears very nice and clean, although it was full it was still very quiet.
There is a fixed menu and in addition a board with the daily specials, which offer a wide choice of dishes.
The prices are proportionate to the quality of the food, including homemade gnocchi (with ragù, extra portion for €2 more, gorgonzola and normal portion), the meat (under fillet with potatoes) cooked to perfection, soft and well salted.
Even the desserts (lemon sorbet and chocolate bonet with peaches) are very good and fresh.
Water, bread, digestive and cover charge are NOT paid.
The goodbye was given to us by an affectionate cat (I have no idea if he is part of the restaurant staff).

The real home-made trattoria, where you can truly feel at home.
Varied menu, especially the "Piedmontese" one, in which one immerses oneself in the typical cuisine.
The service is efficient, complete with explanations (for example of the various meats and cheeses on the mixed platter) and a smile.
The quality/price ratio is top.

Dinner April 2024. Tavern-style environment with friendly, helpful staff who explain the dishes and advise customers. Genuine and very good food with generous portions. The strawberry tiramisu and the bunet did not fully convince us even though they were made by them. Excellent value for money. There is no cover charge and they offered us water and sage bitters at the end of the meal. There is a local car park.

Excellent experience....cozy place, extremely good food, of good quality and plentiful. I recommend the cutting boards...and the first courses.

The "Sottosopra" restaurant enchants with excellent food and a fascinating and unique location. The service is attentive and always with a smile, making every visit a pleasant and relaxing experience. Absolutely recommended!
The Venetian liver dish that I had the pleasure of tasting was truly mouth-watering. The liver meat was finely sliced and cooked to perfection, maintaining a soft and juicy texture. Accompanied by sweet and caramelized onions, which with their sweetness beautifully contrasted the strong flavor of the liver, managing to conquer even the most demanding palates.

Bruno Panebarco, writer and director from Turin, tells you about corners of Italy. Osteria restaurant just outside Turin, in Buttigliera Alta, at the beginning of the Val di Susa. Original menus, with zero km dishes. Very nice and welcoming managers and waiters. Worth a visit. You will also find the novels "Fedeli alla Roba", "Freak Memories", "Ballad of Every Artist", "The Voice of the Last", "Life is a Train to Turin", "Of Boxing and Life" and "Io I am Life."

Sono ritornata dopo tanti anni al sottosopra in compagnia di amici e sono rimasta nuovamente contenta... abbiamo scelto un tagliere con dei formaggi valdostani buonissimi accompagnati da salumi altrettanto buoni... e di secondo uno stracotto con patate davvero sublime... cibo di ottima qualità e prezzo più che giusto..... servizio veloce proprietari gentili..locale tranquillo ... consigliatissimo
