Taverna delle Rose In Torino

Everything excellent. Hospitality, food and service. The only flaw: the lighting. Yes, "tavern-like", very romantic...but, in my opinion and taste, too weak to eat.

Good and tasty food (and it served well and looks very good), friendly and English speaking staff, good variety of vine. The only drawback is that very difficult to read menu in hand-written Italian language 😅

Abbiamo pranzato qui Previa prenotazione, e ci hanno detto infatti che è molto difficile trovare posto. Oltre agli ottimi piatti che abbiamo gustato, devo dire che anche la location interna è storica in quanto ci sono dei mattoni a vista di cantine fine '800, Secondo me, quindi l'ambiente è molto accogliente e lo chef è bravo.👍

I went for dinner at Taverna Delle Rose with a group of 8 colleagues with a wide mix of cultural backgrounds and preferences. The restaurant had been recommended by my hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful and explained the dishes to us. Across the table we had a variety of different dishes. I went for a Braised Beef Cheek on Polenta which was melt in the mouth delicious and an in-house special of Panna Cotta with Mushrooms for dessert - sounds slightly bizarre but was really tasty. Overall, we had a very good time. Food was excellent and the staff were great especially considering we were probably a more 'difficult' table due to various language barriers (across our group) and requests. Would definitely return!
