Ravioli gorgonzola, the best pasta I have ever eaten. Fresh pasta and unbeatable sauce. I would eat here every day if I could.

I was walking and stumbled upon this place, which wasn’t overcrowded by tourists, always a good sign if you ask me. There were even some locals there. Had the bolognese ravioli with mushrooms from the chef recommend menu, and omg, it might’ve been the very best ravioli I’ve had in my life. Couldn’t leave without trying the tiramisu which was also delicious. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

A very charming and local-oriented restaurant. The food is some of the best we had in Florence so far, the Pici al sugo di Cinghiale being a stand-out-star. Please give this place your business if you’re near the Palazzo Vecchio, it is a delight.

In the center of the tourist area and very crowded, I therefore recommend booking. Prices high but in line with the places in the centre. The food is good, excellent first courses especially the pici. The perfectly cooked fillet is also excellent. Friendly and fast waiters

Buona trattoria nel centro di Firenze, vicino all’uscita degli Uffizi. Abbiamo mangiato un’ottima tagliata, primi buoni. Il servizio é stato celere e molto cortese.

Accoglienza eccezionale, ti senti veramente a casa. Si mangia molto bene, porzioni abbondanti e se anche sei pieno la scarpetta la fai lo stesso. Anche i bimbi sono accolti a braccia aperte! Consiglio vivamente

25/05/2024: Just loved it here. Laid back, unpretentious atmosphere. Gorgeous food, all freshly made. Good wines' and friendly, welcoming staff. We went back 3 times!
20/05/2024: Here is a place that remains, despite everything, the intense tourism, the different and often justified and even occasionally strange requests of the customers, a restaurant (and also an excellent pizzeria) where you can truly experience and taste the essence of Florence. The true Tuscan cuisine and the harmony of flavours, the hospitality and perfection of customer service (one of the few places where you can find beautiful cotton napkins that are changed every time...!). Each dish is a real delight and is brought to the table with a unique ethusiasm! Therefore, Mastrociliegia is truly the "place to be, to live and TO EAT" if you are spending even just for an evening (or lunch) in Florence. I could never not be there...!

31/05/2024: Honestly the atmosphere and views deserves the most stars. Niccolo served us and recommended perfectly. Great food and if in good company (yourself included) you will without a doubt enjoy this lovely place.
