Trattoria Ardichetto In Zafferana etnea

Attracted by reviews, for once not from the web, I wanted to try this Trattoria for an important occasion. The venue appears clean, tidy and of the right size: around 150 seats. I suggest booking in advance. The welcome from the staff is the best. We start with a series of traditional appetizers: parmigiana, caponata, olives, peppered pepper, salami, fried bread, bruschetta, ricotta, onion salad, cheese and cabbage. All very good. Apart from the fried bread being a little too soaked in oil, the rest is as tradition dictates. The first were: pistachio ravioli and macaroni all'ardichetto (simply the norm). The first ones are stringy on the palate; they stuck together. The second courses: good cooking. Meat: mixed grill. Sausage and meatballs, not very substantial. Spring onions without spring onions. To conclude “sweet” Ultimately: they created expectations in me with the starters which I admit were good. But with the first course and the meat the rating dropped dramatically. The sweet"…….. 32 euros per person. The price is average for lunches/dinners where it is all inclusive, but in light of how much I ate, I would say that it can easily be lowered by a few euros.

I went for my grillello's birthday on the Sunday before Carnival and I had a great time. The dinner was very succulent and satisfying. Service by a kind girl who handled the service extremely well. It was a pity that the wine was served in one-litre jugs and was not liked.

What can I say... everything was excellent! Excellent welcome, the girl who served us was super attentive, super kind... even the owner passed between the tables to make sure that everything was fine... the lunch was excellent, we took away what we didn't eat. We will return and certainly, as they recommended it to us, we will in turn recommend it to our friends and relatives! Compliments! 10+++

Ci vado spesso ogni volta e sempre meglio cucina impeccabile come il servizio.Tutto buonissimo cucina semplice genuina il classico posto dove se ci vai una volta ci ritorni consigliatissimo andateci

Arrivi in questo localino, nascosto come dire nelle vie di montagna e trovi questo posticino particolarmente riservato, come se fossi a casa… Cosa dire…. Tutto di ottima qualità, dall’ antipasto servito nel giro di poco, ai primi per poi passare ai secondi e al dolce… Personale gentile, educato e preparato.. Il proprietario persona anch’essa gentilissima… Tutto ottimo.

Sono stata in questo locale per il battesimo della mia cuginetta e ho mangiato molto bene da vegana. Ottime proposte, non innovative ma il cibo era delizioso come lo prepara la tua nonna! Non troverete alternative vegetali come formaggio veg o secondi piatti come seitan tofu etc. Ma i piatti della tradizione sono molto buoni, ho mangiato benissimo, il personale molto educato e disponibile, nessun problema per chi è vegano insomma! Riescono ad adattare i piatti che fanno, togliendo il formaggio se presente o proponendo delle ottime opzioni. Sono stata molto bene, ve lo consiglio se volete mangiare degli ottimi antipasti e della buona pasta. Allego foto di cosa ho mangiato
