Very good braised pork cheeks eaten. The house wine Bianco is also very good. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back. The dishes at the other tables also looked very good.

We stopped by for a quick glass, accompanied by some cured meats. Pleasantly surprised by the exquisite welcome and helpfulness of the staff. We will definitely return for dinner.

Restaurant visited several times. It confirms expectations and remains authentically adherent to the typical food and wine of the area which it interprets very well. After not visiting it for a long time, I tasted one of the two "specialty" dishes of the house again: "la maialata" (the other is the pork shank). Always a pleasant confirmation accompanied by the house rifle. The portions are generous so I advise against pairing a first course. While waiting we shared a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses. The real surprise, however, came with the dessert: an excellent Catalan cream, very light and well dosed. Highly recommended. As usual: goodbye

A very cozy restaurant. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable about the wines. These taste good and are offered in different price categories. The restaurant opens at 7 p.m. The dishes are visually well presented and the taste of the meat is cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and not too expensive. Parking spaces are free opposite the restaurant. If you arrive too early, you can pass the waiting time in the bar opposite. Here we paid 7 euros for coffee and wine for four people. And at an acceptable quality. Although there are only locals here, everyone is nice and friendly. You won't be looked at strangely.

Siamo stati da Mario enoteca dello schioppettino per mangiare la “maialata”. Piatto eccellente con stinco e costine che si scioglievano in bocca. Eravamo in 55 tutti entusiasti. Mario poi e’ un ciclone di simpatia, non te ne andresti mai. Un grazie immenso dalla classe 40 di Busto A.

16/05/2024: It really is an old trattoria, that's meant as a compliment! Quality food and generous portions. The super tiramisu ++++ The service was attentive and fast, the staff friendly and pleasant The environment reflects the trattorias of the past: welcoming, homely, checkered tablecloth, simple furnishings. There is an excellent quality/price ratio. We will be back, highly recommended Closed on Saturday and Sunday

01/05/2024: The platter of Friulian cured meats and the classic frico are excellent. Too bad about the tagliatelle with raw ham: good flavor but overcooked and excessively salty. Both the grilled Montasio and the sausages are tasty. Excellent polenta and homemade bread. Good supply of wines and beers. The desserts were also a pleasant surprise (strawberry tiramisu, 3 chocolate cake, pistachio cheesecake.
16/04/2024: Nice place in the center of Udine, excellent both for a meal and for a moment of relaxation drinking excellent wine and delicious "cicchetti"
