Great food and equally great staff!

I love this cafe... a very nice owner... Service top, price performance absolutely fine.... And if you sit on the square opposite on a quiet day... the fountain is trickling away... and your espresso is coming... you could be very close to paradise... I would be happy to come back... We arrived at 2.30pm. Very kind staff. We were served early with exquisite dishes. Excellent house wine.

We tried the main dish, really good chicken, braised meat and polenta taragna. Optimal!

Visitato con amici Bergamo Alta abbiamo scelto di pranzare presso la trattoria. Disponibili anche ad accontentare i bimbi con intolleranze, ho scelto piatto del giorno molto buono.

Situato sulla via principale di Bergamo Alta, locale un po' vecchio stile come arredamento. Sono stata accolta con un'espressione quasi schifata dalla proprietaria, che sbuffando ha accettato di assegnarmi un tavolo anche se ero da sola (a Bergamo per lavoro). Decisamente più cortese il cameriere che mi ha servita. Piatti tipici locali, con prezzi corretti, ma... 3 EUR di coperto e 2 EUR il caffé sono veramente esagerati! Polenta taragna con formaggi nella norma. Interessante in menu fisso che ho visto servire al tavolo a fianco. Al momento del conto e dei saluti, la proprietaria (forse vedendo che ho pranzato velocemente ed ho liberato il preziosissimo tavolo occupabile da due persone) ha cambiato atteggiamento, scambiando due parole e dimostrandosi assolutamente cortese. Ci tornerei? Non credo. Lo consiglio? Sì per alcuni aspetti, no per altri.
