Buon cibo, non eccellente, acqua da potabilizzatore, puliscono le briciole di pane al tavolo come se fossimo dei bimbi, prezzo troppo alto in rapporto alla qualità data ed in rapporto ad altri ristoranti della zona di ugual livello ma con cibo migliore ed abbondante. Parcheggio completamente al buio.

Cominciamo dalla location: bellissima, un terrazzamento morenico che si affaccia sulla conca gardesana di Desenzano. Il locale è molto curato e romantico, dotato di un ampio parcheggio. L'accoglienza è cordiale e al contempo discreta, il servizio puntuale e preciso, privo di sbavature. Come si mangia: bene, direi molto, forse non da 5 stelle ma nemmeno da 4, insomma nel mezzo. Unico appunto: la quantità, non che si debba abbuffarsi ma alla fine del piatto ti rimane un po' di insoddisfatta voglia di quel pochino di più. Il prezzo: è indubbiamente caro, non tanto i piatti ma tutto il resto, il servizio, le bevande, il caffè. Bevendo senza esagerare si superano di slancio i 100 euro. Ne vale la pena? Sì, per la qualità del cibo, il servizio, l'atmosfera...quest'ultima veramente da Oscar!

Overrated - "clothes don't make the man" I wasn't happy Sunday lunch (not a holiday and they weren't full so there wasn't a crowd) Beautiful location for goodness sake but... Little reception at the entrance Courteous and kind waiter service but 45/55 minutes for the starters... Once the starters are finished another 45 minutes for the main courses The dishes were good but served gourmet style not trattoria type (which is in the name of the restaurant), in the sense that the dimensions are very small honestly I expected larger portions More than €160 in 3 Order two courses each (starters and main courses) 2 glasses of wine 2 bottles of water They offered sweets but it seems like the minimum considering that the cover charge is €5 ...I leave the judgment to you

03/05/2024: This beautiful place stands in the central square of Moniga with good parking opportunities on the road that goes down to the left of it. The menu is excellent, with revisited local proposals, in a modern environment with touches of tradition, especially in the furnishings. Spaghetti carbonara with Norcia bacon very well done, excellent bigoli with hare salmi, and what about the tortelli with bagoss ricotta and egg yolk? Excellent even without the note of the black truffle which unfortunately ended. The second course was really well interpreted, the pike in marjoram oil and saba puree, light and tasty at the same time; Really decent sparkling white bulk wine, suitable for dinner. Service carried out by a friendly and finally competent man on the dishes on the menu, a truly excellent evening in a truly warm place, we felt like we were at the home of old friends; the Dogana Bistrot is also an excellent pizzeria and hamburger restaurant, it's a shame to be so far from home to return.
