Trattoria Fore le Mura da Franchino In L'aquila

A trattoria 15 minutes from the center of L'Aquila, I highly recommend it, because the food is homemade, plentiful and excellent. The super welcoming owner who drives excellent service! 5 stars on everything!

Mr. Franco is a wonderful person, pleasant company during the meal and a customer-focused host. Homemade cuisine but of a higher level. The appetizer deserves a separate chapter as a symphony of flavors and richness of courses never seen before!! I really hope to be able to return in the future. In the meantime, thank you Franco for welcoming us

I'm posting the review while I'm eating at this restaurant because it's really good. We're here for Easter Monday and we're eating really well. Fast service despite the particular day, quality food and very kind and friendly owner. Highly recommended

In zona Assergi da vari anni sono sorti tanti ristoranti con strutture nuove e arredatissime che riecheggiano da lontano le vecchie trattorie abruzzesi. Naturalmente ciò ha contribuito ad alzare i prezzi anche se la qualità spesso non ne ha risentito. Ecco l'unica trattoria anni 60, nel centro storico di Assergi, che ho trovato in zona. Il buon Franchino vi accoglierà con un tu come tra vecchi amici, lo so non a tutti piace ma è fatto cosi. Menù a voce anche se su una lavagna si possono vedere i prezzi delle porttae . Tutte molto economiche. Primi a 7/9 euro. Antipasto caldo ferddo abbondante con cui solo cenare (affettati formaggi polpette varie e altro ben di dio. A seguire Iolaci, una pasta fatta con crema di pecorico, guianciale e appunto iolaci (una erba che cresce a 2000 mt sul gran sasso ) ottima ed abbondante. Solo il vino da migliorare . Si finisce con un bicchierino di genziana (provenienza estera perchè è vietata la raccolta in zona) tutto per 20 euro. Non avete la tovaglia di pizzo. Però il locale era pieno anche di starnieri che guarda cxaso non piace il pizzo ma la pasta fatta in casa si.
