I have passed by this restaurant several times and had never stopped, one day my wife and I did so and discovered a phenomenal place: excellent food and a welcoming place but the real added value is the couple who run it. Perfect for a pleasant culinary break during the Bologna/Florence journey on the S.S.64, it is always full of motorcyclists and other friendly people passing by. Informal but very nice and warm environment. I recommend booking.

Trattoria just down the Raticosa, as soon as I entered I noticed a pleasant smell of typical "home" cooking. Excellent dishes, home service, very kind waitress, who accompanied the lunch with sympathy and desire. Prices more than fair for the quality

Very welcoming place, full of home-made warmth. Very nice and courteous owners. Superlative starter, first courses, second courses and desserts. Everything perfect. I highly recommend.

We stopped by chance but instinct rewarded us... the owners are very welcoming and friendly, we had lunch with excellent mixed croutons, excellent tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms with fresh parsley and pepper, and excellent trifle. Absolutely worth doing again, the menu is very inviting.

Pleasant, clean place, the owners are very friendly, attentive to the customer and proactive in recommending dishes. The mixed croutons, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms with a sprinkling of fresh parsley and pepper and the superb trifle are excellent. We will definitely be back, also to eat the Florentine steak that we glimpsed at the nearby tables.

04/04/2024: We went to this restaurant for Easter lunch. There is ample parking available nearby. The place is not very large but tidy and the tables are arranged intelligently. The atmosphere speaks to us of tradition, cuisine, hunting trips, flavours. Tuscany. The owner welcomed us with a smile and made us feel at home after chatting. The waiter who served us was very knowledgeable, attentive and kind. Let's start with the typical Tuscan appetizers. Classic appetizers of the Tuscan tradition. Incredibly good are the liver ones and the polenta ones with Chianina ragout. The first courses are also excellent, in particular the ravioli with ragù and the gnudi. For the second course, the braised boneless steak was interesting but the real surprise was sweetbreads, chicory and bagnacauda. A delicious dish. The wine list is good with many local proposals capable of surprising in terms of quality. At the end of lunch we felt satisfied, pampered and happy. Girodibacco will become a fixed stop every time we return to Tuscany.
04/04/2024: Beautiful place, exquisite and quality cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff, we were in a group and passing through, we had such a good time that we were sorry to leave. I highly recommend, super top experience!!!
