Well prepared and delicious dishes. Wide choice. Truly wonderful traditional Trieste and Italian dishes, with excellent presentation, raw materials of absolute freshness and quality. Delicious cold and raw appetizer. Special mention to the truly good and well prepared desserts. Professional staff, small and welcoming place, with an enchanting and well-kept environment. Truly a place to return.

I would start with a thank you to Giulio and all the wonderful staff who gave my partner and me a dinner, an experience and a memory of those that we will take with us. The quality and undisputed freshness of the raw materials must be highlighted, what makes these qualities special is the way in which they are treated...respecting them and enhancing their flavors with wisdom and simplicity...a journey of flavors that makes your mouth water just thinking about it! The passion for food and what they do is passed on to customers through their dishes and customer care, and it is palpable. A little place to recommend to anyone and to which it will be impossible not to return.

It is very well regarded for a reason. Simple, yet delicious food. Squid ink fettuccine and the anchovie bigatti were perfect! As were the primi piatti.

Non indimenticabile ! Location sobria senza un stile! Cucina scontata .. buone le paste .. fritto poveretto… tanti “ribaltavapori”… ottimi i dolci e la cantina!

25/05/2024: I write with almost regret, the place is beautiful and welcoming, the cod was good and the taglioni too but for the second courses I found them very unbalanced, the taste of olive oil and peppers prevailed too much, the dessert was also very disappointing. Service not attentive and too busy.
18/05/2024: It happens that places with such a solid reputation sometimes rest on their laurels and lose the quality of the past. It happens often, but not here. Courteous and friendly waiters, fast cooking, noteworthy cooking and flavors, and all for an honest quality-price ratio. Note of merit to the "sakè", it impressed us favorably. We will definitely return when we pass through Trieste again, a fixed stop from today!
