12/05/2024: Central bar, near Piazza Unità d'Italia. The place closes at midnight even on Saturdays. If you plan to stop for a drink around closing time, don't. Reviewing the timetables, especially when there are people, perhaps wouldn't be a bad thing. Stop by yesterday we decided to sit inside in the corridor it was 11pm. A waiter told us that the seats were reserved (we hadn't noticed the note that actually indicated that the seat was reserved), so we moved. The seats were not filled until closing. Wouldn't it be better to say "excuse us but these places cannot be occupied due to a service issue??" At least people wouldn't feel taken for a ride. The attitude of the waiters also needs to be reviewed (I can understand the bad day etc) but certain things "can't be seen". Unfortunately, despite the years of frequenting the place, I don't think we will return.

11/05/2024: One of the historic cafés of Trieste. Excellent for friendly service, product quality and customer care.
