13/03/2024: mi soffermerei sulla qualità delle pietanze tutte meritevoli di grande elogio. pesce freschissimo e preparazioni ottime. prezzo leggermente eccessivo ma, indubbiamente, la qualità va riconosciuta. sicuramente soddisfatto. peccato per il locale

08/05/2024: First of all, the food here is very tasty and homemade! Unfortunately it was raining during our visit and we were unable to interpret the surroundings properly. The restaurant is typically Italian and clean. The service was too friendly, loud and seemed hectic. What we didn't like were the tips. Three euros per person were estimated.

12/05/2024: Ravioli good, pizza decent, veal with artichoke sauce was god awful. Crème Catalan good. No English menu, neither ability to have it explained or speak in English generally. Service weird (beer in wineglasses, pizza came last) and slowish. Some of them were very friendly though. Could’ve been great with a little effort imo. And remove that veal from the menu!

25/04/2024: Place to avoid. The quality of everything my family and I ate in this restaurant, except the desserts, was absolutely mediocre. The experience wasn't worth the (expensive) expense. The staff was friendly and polite throughout the service. The environment is very chaotic, probably because it is not adequately soundproofed. It's hard to hear what the person in front of you is saying.

14/05/2024: I haven't had such good mussel soup in a long time! Quality food and welcoming, helpful service.

13/05/2024: Fish spada grilled and palermitana. Everything was excellent, dishes that seemed simple but with very good seasonings, magnificent olive oil. The portions are generous and the service very friendly!

18/05/2024: Today, May 18th, I ate in this really nice little place. Bruschetta with caramelized onions and bruschetta with caponata, vegetarian couscous. EXCELLENT everything, from the value for money to the courtesy of the owner Francesco who welcomed us friendly and gave us a few songs on his guitar. I really recommend it. 😊💕

24/05/2024: This place and its italian vibe is a must. They offer a 3-course menue for 10€ per person. Kids get a pasta dish for 5€. It was loud, crowded, people waiting outside to get a table. Mostly local people. The staff was super friendly. The food was perfect, very nice. And as dessert we got melon, the perfect ending. I can highly recommend this restaurant, if you‘re nearby.

07/04/2024: You enter the restaurant and you really feel like you are in Sicily. Typical ceramics surround it. They mainly cook fish. Personally, I ordered caponata (mouth-watering), tonarelli, pachino grouper and provolone with nero d'Avola (which disappointed me a bit because they were not very tasty), stratospheric fried fish (served with very crunchy fried courgette fillets in batter) and dulcis at the bottom almond semifreddo. Professional waiters available and smiling. Clearly the quality of the products they offer corresponds to a fairly high cost.

30/03/2024: Very much a locals restaurant that seems to be a place for special occasions. So, as a tourist, it was nice to experience it and gain an authentic, non-touristy experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good and ingredients very fresh. Grazie!

07/04/2024: Although it is a bit out of the center of Catania, it is easy to find. The food is basically delicious though. There is a bit of noise because it is on the side of the road.

16/01/2024: Nella nostra unica sera a Porto Empedocle, inebriati dalle precedenti recensioni, prenotiamo in questo bel ristorante di livello medio alto, decisi ad abbuffarci di ottimo pesce e, ovviamente, gamberi crudi, pronti a spendere quel che sia necessario.. Al tavolo scopriamo che nel locale c'è una festa di laurea ed il menù è lo stesso per tutti i convenuti, turisti compresi.. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, ma certo non quello che avremmo voluto.. Ed è stato un gran peccato.. E non informarci della cosa quando abbiamo prenotato telefonicamente il pomeriggio stesso, lo ritengo un errore imperdonabile.. Per questo do 3 pallini ad un ristorante che di sicuro ne merita 5

14/05/2024: The best place my family and I ate. Although there is a long way to go to come (since we are from another small town) it is really worth it. Very hygienic place, staff also attentive to any intolerances, beautiful place with garden, animals and even a space for children to play. There is a lot of abundance but above all quality when it comes to food. Always happy to come here!
