25/05/2024: The restaurant may even offer a good gastronomic experience, but it lacks transparency of information. Before we went, we did a lot of research about the place, including checking on Google and social media, and found no indication that the restaurant is reservations-only and that it is often crowded. This left us extremely disappointed to get there and not get a table. I suggest the restaurant updates its online information to include the need for reservations, ensuring future customers aren't caught off guard.

20/11/2023: Se voce vai a Portofino não pode deixar de conhecer o Restaurante de Frutos do Mar, Da I Gemelli, ótima gastronomia da Liguria, na margem de Portofino com a vista para cais. A carta de vinhos e a melhor de Portofino. O serviço é excelente, vale ressaltar o especial atendimento do manager GIO GABRIEL e também do proprietario da casa MATTEO muito gentil em receber todos os clientes.

25/10/2023: Excellent pesto and Nonas pasta was amazing. The staff were all very friendly. House wine by the glass was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

02/05/2024: I was on Tuesday evening for dinner at the Strainer restaurant in Portofino on the occasion of an award given to a friend, and it was a beautiful evening accompanied by excellent dishes with attention to detail and a staff who was always attentive and punctual in table service, I would say excellent, not to mention of the owner Mr. Carmine, a very knowledgeable and helpful person, friendly and very sociable, the location speaks for itself and I invite you to go and visit him as I will definitely be back to taste his wonderful dishes, thank you Carmine thank you Giuliana for the pleasant evening

06/04/2024: Pizza was ok. The service a bit glum. The biggest concern was the tiramisu. Made of cream only and didn’t taste ok. I felt out of sort the following morning.

30/04/2024: We had lunch in this trattoria in Portofino... what can I say, excellent food (trofie with pesto) and fish skewers. Polite and friendly staff (we were also offered coffee by the landlady). In short, we will certainly return. (Paolo stays calm and doesn't get things wrong...😉😂😂)

28/04/2024: we started to order the manager came, he looks very worried and asked if we would order only salad. It was very unpleasant. He relaxed a little bit after our answer, that our daughter want to eat only sweets, but we have more plans for dinner. But it was very rude. The food is very intermediate level of quality. Waiters weren’t friendly and we didn’t feel welcome in this restaurant.

06/01/2024: Di passaggio in questo angolo di paradiso prenotiamo in questo locale che ci incuriosiva da tempo. Posizione strategica in centro piazzetta ,accoglienza da 5 stelle fanno percepire subito il livello.Optiamo per il menù degustazione più completo da 200,00 a persona e pur immaginando la politica dei prezzi , leggendo la carta dei vini questa supera le aspettative con ricarichi più che elevati. Alternanza di sensazioni , dai discreti spaghetti di tonno all’eccellente risotto , buoni i paccheri , sufficiente il rombo in crosta di pane. Tirando le somme , siamo stati bene , forse ci aspettavamo di più , ma in fin dei conti è una trattoria , probabilmente fra le più care in assoluto ma così recita l’insegna. Una cosa da rimarcare il servizio, eccezionale . Tutto lo staff di sala numerosissimo , e’ molto premuroso , empatico e di gran livello , non sfigurerebbe in un qualsiasi tre stelle Michelin.Prezzo finale importante .

02/01/2024: Brunch del primo giorno del nuovo anno, non all'altezza del nome che porta, aspettative molto alte, purtroppo deludente. Abbiamo pensato di aver mangiato gli avanzi della sera prima, sullo stile mensa comunale! I dolci , solo brioches avanzate dalle colazioni, vino a prezzi proibitivi per non parlare del costo del caffè e dell'acqua....

17/05/2024: You can have a light meal while looking at the view of Portofino Port. We ordered brioche & raspberry ice cream, chocolate croissants, and 2 cups of coffee, and all of them were very delicious. The bathrooms are also separated for men and women and are maintained very hygienically. The server was very friendly, but when there were a lot of customers, I had to wait a bit because I had to deal with everyone by myself. Still, I recommend stopping by when you come to Portofino :)

14/05/2024: We were not served simply because we brought our bikes and left them in front of the restaurant. Insolent service. We were told we would not be served because of the bikes. We wanted to drink good coffee and wine. Unfortunately, we were asked out only because of our sport outfit. In addition, no problem was seen in other restaurants… Is this the way the world should be? Sadness.

13/01/2024: Nice place located on a small typical place, in a small backstreet. Menu is rather qualitative and waiters are quite friendly. A nice place to eat.

26/03/2024: All the food is very delicious. Good quantity, good service, fast and with beautiful views of the castle. All the desserts were delicious (pana cotta, apple pie and tiramisu). Quite high price but I understand that they all cost the same in this area
