05/03/2024: Kind owner. Excellent dishes... price slightly above average

10/02/2024: A good fish restaurant in Isernia. It seems strange…. But that's how it is. We ate some good fish served excellently by the owner, who was very friendly and helpful.

17/03/2024: I book for 16 women for March 8th, I phone the super kind owner. He tells me that there is a fixed menu with starters made from tartare, marinated carpaccio and flan, first course pizza and dessert. I ask if it is possible to have 10 of the 16 reserved seats, a Tuscan-like appetizer with raw ham and little more, because 10 people don't eat raw food, he very kindly grants me the request. When we get there, instead of a table of 16, I find 2 tables of 3 and 2 tables of 5 (if it wanted to be divided, I would have said so....if you don't have a room for 1 table of 16, you have to say it...) I join the tables and create 2 of 8...the first 40 minutes are been smoked in the true sense of the word, from a fireplace lit in the room that was smoking... Marco the owner, kindly at first, immediately runs to the fireplace but instead of immediately taking away the 3 logs that were there, he throws some cardboard ...windows wide open, girls with makeup dripping from tears, old people with jackets....after 40 minutes..he takes away the three shackles...and acts annoyed...because for him, we simply had to keep the windows open....(well with that storm).......they bring the appetizers and I find on the plate, leek flan (good), chopped mortadella cooked or seasoned(?) Raw meat carpaccio, simply marinated and uncooked and a platter of raw... The discussion begins..... he insists on saying that it is cooked... but I who have been selling it for work for 22 years, know very well that that meat on the fire, it didn't get through..... after half an hour of discussion (I find it absurd that a restaurateur starts arguing over every comma, rightly disputed, that was wrong) the time comes to order the pizzas and we hear the waiters talking because no one wanted to come and take our order... the place isn't huge and our hearing is good... oh well... we order the pizzas... "we only make the classic ones"... 4 seasons, no....rocket and raw cake, no because you lose out on a €25 menu....well...you have to pay and there are 10 of us with the menu without the tartare instead of 25 €, he asks for €20...we ask why and he replies that if he spends less, he makes customers spend less...my advice: I have never said I want to spend less and I have never made it an issue price....next time, ask for €25 but get both the 4 seasons and the panel....because it's embarrassing to hear certain answers from the waiters! In the end the evening ended and we even had a laugh with Marco... because even if he's touchy, he's also very nice.

12/03/2024: We decided to have lunch at Distinto on the occasion of our anniversary. The atmosphere of the place was calm and welcoming. The service was excellent, the waitress was present but never seemed intrusive. We decided to try the Istinto tasting menu and the dishes were all delicious. Quality ingredients revisited by the chef, sometimes in an oriental style. The courses featured ingredients of different consistencies and flavors (sweet, salty, sour) well balanced between them, which made the dishes not only excellent but also pleasant to discover and taste. Right value for money for us. In the end, they also gave us a welcome surprise to celebrate our anniversary. They were very kind and we will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

07/04/2024: Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo ristorante e devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. C’è davvero una scelta molto ampia sul menù. Complimenti soprattutto per il calzone ed i dolci.

05/04/2024: Ottimo ristorante all'interno del Grand Hotel Europa. Personale gentile, preparato e servizio veloce. Vasta scelta di carne e sua qualità ottima, oltretutto ben servita con pietra ollare per mantenerla calda. Ottimi anche i vini. Consigliatissimo

L' agriturismo masseria Santa Lucia un luogo di pace, cortesia e squisita accoglienza. Un grazie sincero alla signora Emma.

Agosto 2023 La quiete e la bellezza della valle, circondata dalle montagne che avvolgono e abbracciano come per magia il borgo di Agnone, sono qualcosa che non è semplice descrivere. Sembra un posto incantato dove, tra storia, natura, accoglienza della gente e cucina tipica e "artigianale", si è proiettati in un mondo genuino dove è ancora possibile mantenere alcune antiche tradizioni. Cascate, panorami mozzafiato, ruscelli, boschi incantati, paesini incastonati, e tanto, tanto altro, riescono a trasmettere emozioni uniche e indimenticabili. La masseria S. Lucia si inserisce perfettamente in questo contesto in cui la Sig.ra Emma, con saggezza, semplicità e maestria, delizia i suoi ospiti in modo molto accogliente e con una cucina veramente casereccia e curata. Consigliamo senza alcun dubbio di soggiornare in questa oasi per provare intensamente pace e serenità.

09/05/2024: Twice in less than fifteen days. This should be enough. In this place everything is practically perfect. From the food, prepared with skill and taste, to the service and availability. When you eat so well it becomes a real pleasure to return. Don't forget the desserts, delicious. Highly recommended. All at a more than honest price.

04/05/2024: Looking for a restaurant for lunch, we followed the delicious smell of food and were pleasantly surprised by a welcoming restaurant, elegant atmosphere, friendly service and excellent menu. A special mention for the baked cod which was delicious. There is a wide choice of wines and the desserts are amazing. We hope to return soon.

29/12/2023: Una bellissima scoperta!! Pranzo di Natale in famiglia, menù fisso ma con ampia possibilità di variazioni. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo ad un costo ragionevole e, soprattutto, in un clima familiare e molto cordiale. Complimenti e grazie a Rocco e alla sua famiglia. P.S. menzione speciale al figlio cameriere, bravissimo!!!

16/12/2023: Come scritto nel titolo, semplice e buono. Antipasto con roba locale, pasta molto buona, carne ottima. Un pallino in più per il cameriere giovane e molto bravo! Un po' scomodo da raggiungere, però il posto non è male, penso renda molto di più in estate oppure in giornate non fredde come quando siamo andati noi.
