22/05/2024: Wunderschöne Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen und ganz liebes Personal - wir haben draußen einen Platz bekommen, und es war toll, in der kleinen Gasse zu sitzen. Wir hatten Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten, Muscheln, Ravioli und für ein Kind sogar Schnitzel - und waren sehr satt und glücklich. Die Nachtische sind gewaltig! Wichtig: man muss unbedingt reservieren.
21/05/2024: Wir hatten für 13.00 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert. Aufgrund des starken Verkehrs waren wir spät dran und erhielten eine SMS vom Restaurant über unsere Reservierung. Ich schrieb, dass wir gegen 13.20 Uhr (20 Minuten zu spät) da sein würden. Das Restaurant schrieb, es tue ihm leid, aber die Küche schließe um 14.00 Uhr und wir könnten dort leider nicht mehr essen. Das heißt, wenn man um 13.00 Uhr da ist, hat man 60 Minuten Zeit und das ist in Ordnung, 40 Minuten sind nicht in Ordnung und man wird abgewiesen. Das war eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir können ein solches Verhalten nicht unterstützen und werden das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen und in Zukunft meiden!
Zum Essen können wir daher keine Bewertung abgeben, aber die Bilder auf Tripadvisor sehen gut aus.

22/01/2024: The food here is really very special. The location on the gorge is magnificent, and the restaurant itself is also very atmospheric. The menu is clear, the dishes are special and very carefully prepared. I invited guests for my birthday and was very happy with the evening. The wine list also offers a great selection; compared to nearby Locarno, the food and drink here are extremely affordable.

06/04/2024: A customer took me to the pier restaurant in Cannobio. Interesting dinner with local flavours, excellent wine and dessert. The ideal atmosphere consolidated our business relationship. From now on I will do the same, improving my business relationships.

The environment and the atmosphere had a truly incisive impact.

03/05/2024: Mountain environment with a beautiful stove, remarkable assortment of spirits expertly presented by the competent and friendly owner of the place, I was happy because among the beers on tap there was an English bitter ale. I had dinner with a perfect rösti, others at my table preferred the onion soup and the tagliatelle, all good. Highly recommended!

13/05/2024: Our stay at the Hotel Pironi was wonderful and we felt welcome from the start. The hotel is stylishly furnished and with its intricate corners it has a special flair.
The staff is super nice and very accommodating.
The breakfast offering was more than sufficient, from scrambled eggs with bacon, sweets such as cakes and croissants, fresh fruit and hot drinks whatever your heart desires.
During the day you have the opportunity to make coffee or tea and help yourself to cookies and pastries in the hotel's lounge.
For parking there is an on-site parking lot that is available free of charge.
The hotel is very central, you are right in the small old town and it is not far to Lake Maggiore.

ITALIAN: Cibo buono, Le cozze sono stata una delusione, poco gustose e le cozze minuscole, porzioni piccole, location molto carina, con vista lago, servizio cordiale, prezzi ok, approvato 👍🏻.
GERMAN: Good food, the mussels were a disappointment, not very tasty and the mussels were tiny, small portions, very nice location with a view of the lake, friendly service, prices ok, approved 👍🏻.
FRANCAIS: Bonne nourriture, Les moules étaient décevantes, pas très savoureuses et les moules minuscules. , petites portions, très bel emplacement avec vue sur le lac, service sympathique, prix corrects, approuvé 👍🏻.
10/03/2024: The Lido Cannobio with disco regularly fills the entire area of at least 3 kilometers with loud music and shouting until late into the night (2 a.m.). Thousands of holiday guests on several campsites and many holiday apartments cannot sleep and are deprived of their night's rest and their holiday. However, the law enforcement officers do not intervene and tolerate this massive disturbance of the peace. Unfortunately, a holiday in Cannobio is no fun. Many guests quickly leave the place. It's really a shame for the actually beautiful Cannobio.
