01/04/2024: Horrible customer service! Rude! Orders coffee and received 2 out of 3 barely warm. Asked to change- made different, so hot you burn your mouth. Said thank you, no response. No recommended at all! Arrogant

26/05/2024: It was one of the best restaurants to eat in the Lake Maggiore area for cuisine, service and location. After 2 years and with the takeover of the new management I can only write: we will never go back. There may be errors in the service (we waited almost 1 hour and a half to eat a first course, while all the other tables were served and in the meantime finished lunch......), but it was the way of treating the customer: without being interested, without realizing that an hour or more was going by without 4 people eating... and finally offering a small bottle to apologize (which was not accepted since we are not at these levels) ....All this is unacceptable from our point of view. Thanks and never again.

24/05/2024: One of the best meals of my life, saffron risotto, quite astonishing, more than recommended. The meat dishes are also magnificent and very generous portions. Breathtaking views of the islands combined with the tranquil environment ensure a unique experience. Finally, a more than positive note for the staff, waiters of a kindness and helpfulness never seen before. If I return to the area I will not hesitate to return.

07/05/2024: We found this place in Stresa from the Michelin Guide in the April of 2024. It's a nice place in the center of Stresa close to the port, in a very touristy area. The staff was really kind and welcoming but the food was very very regular, nothing special or tasty.. I think we paid 60eur/person only because it is in the Michelin Guide. Also, I must add that the lake area in general is more expensive than other parts of north Italy. Thanks anyway to the staff..

02/04/2024: Finding vegan options is never easy or obvious but here you can eat very well, simple but very good dishes, a very rich starter and the dessert was truly exceptional (a cake with pistachio mousse and hazelnut brittle and salted caramel, perfectly balanced). 28/05/2024: Nice grand old hotel. Service details could use some attention. Shirt pressing requested for a wedding at 1pm wasn't done till 2:30. Accidentally left one of the hotel's disposable umbrellas at a museum and concierge made a big stink over it. Not allowed to use the pool on the day of checkout if you have a late afternoon flight.

04/04/2024: I booked a table online, and got both an email notification and whatsapp confirmation. We arrived with welcoming smiles and great music that made me want to sing-along, but I refrained as to not embarrass my kids. I ordered the Taglierone which was more than enough for the two of us who were sharing it. The tastes were super, and the kind service offered to wrap the rest up for us to take home. There is also a kids menu that is offered. Upon leaving, my daughter got on the free wifi and we won a free dessert! Since we had already ordered dessert, the cost of it was deducted from the bill. We were kind of flustered upon leaving, and I regret that I didn’t leave a tip because I had no cash with me. I will surely be back!

07/05/2024: I returned a year later to see if this place existed... it exists, it exists and the lady with the raving rant made up of abstract and extremely rude insults bordering on denunciation also exists... too bad... I hoped I wouldn't see her again! Stresa with its clubs and innkeepers don't deserve people like that, they really don't! In response to your answer...a year ago I had the unhealthy idea of ​​stopping to read the menu hanging outside the restaurant...it was 2.30pm in the afternoon, we would have liked to try it in the evening...but we were treated like fish in the face (obviously in the third person) by a woman and a man who arrogantly and rudely made us understand that the place was closing... but far be it from us to ask to have lunch at that time... obviously not we didn't even spend the evening anymore. At that juncture I expressed my dissent through a review which was followed by an arrogant, presumptuous and rude response like this one! Good life!
