28/01/2024: Family dinner... a place with no frills, which, if you want to find tradition, most of the time stifles. Beautiful location, especially if you arrive in the evening with snow! Excellent and plentiful dishes, including grappas. Returned twice, but it doesn't end there...

27/01/2024: Ambiente piccolino, raccolto e molto pulito. Arredi recenti ed una vista da cartolina Cibo semplice di ottima qualità preparato con passione, strepitosi il piatto malgola e la torta di mele. Proprietaria giovane, attenta e simpaticissima Consigliatissimo!

13/03/2024: Not sure why my last review was removed. We visited in December with our kids for lunch. The lady was so extremely rude from the moment she came to take our order, guessing our order before we even finished and brought out the wrong order. Then was so abrupt and annoyed about it. Never had such awful customer service, over what and how we offended her is unknown! Can only be she didn’t like the way we looked.

25/02/2024: Sämsta restaurangbesöket i Passo tonale. Valde restaurangen då betyget på TripAdvisor såg bra ut. Beställde Angus kött på salladsbädd, frun beställde gulasch. Mitt kött var rått, efter att de tillagat det ytterligare, försökte jag äta det men det var som tuggummi, och enda tillbehöret var torr ruccolasallad med skivad ost ovanpå, sås är något som inte existerar här tydligen. Fruns gulasch var ljummet varm på tallriken, undrar hur länge den stått framme innan servering? Jag beställde en pizza Toretta då jag inte kunde äta mitt angus kött, den motsvarade inte förväntningarna heller tyvärr, åt dock upp den. Jag betalade full nota utan några avdrag för mina klagomål, snacka om turistfälla.

16/03/2024: I rarely write reviews, but my recent dining experience at Hotel La Mirandola's restaurant was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share. Advertised as a gourmet chef dinner priced at 46 euros per person, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, the reality was a series of basic hotel meals that fell short of the promised culinary adventure, it was literally the food that was served to the hotel residents. Contrary to the anticipation of a curated wine pairing, we found ourselves pouring our own wine. The most frustrating part was the discrepancy between the menu and what was served; we were informed, rather dismissively, that "the menu was wrong." Several dishes were left untouched because they simply did not appeal to our tastes, yet no one inquired about our dissatisfaction or the uneaten food. This lack of attention to guest experience only added to our disappointment. For a dinner that promised so much, it delivered very little.

13/03/2024: Beds uncomfortable and creaked noisily with every small movement. Great service from the friendly staff. Hotel is a slippery steep walk up from the main town so either be prepared for this or be dependent on the hotel's free shuttle minibus and it's operating hours. Mostly skied in and out which was fine (but the turn off from the Valbiolo piste is unmarked - don't miss it as it's a long chair lift for another go!) Good food (but if you have dietary requirements, it's not obvious what's on the menu). Nice spa and bar too.
