The food is of great quality and each dish is well thought out down to the smallest detail. We had a wonderful time, we ate divinely and we felt fully pampered. A place I wholeheartedly recommend

17/02/2024: Restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, with a simple environment but attention to every detail. Rich and interesting menu, not at all obvious. The tasting of their oil on bruschetta, as a welcome, steals the show, and in general the exceptional quality oil is the star of the restaurant. We will gladly return!

01/04/2024: With some friends I had the opportunity to return to the Locanda del Teatro. It was a real success. My friends were fascinated by the warmth of the place and the extreme courtesy of the maître Paolo. The staff, courteous and impeccable as always, were constantly at our disposal. Chef Pasqualino stopped by to say a cordial greeting, as did the pastry chef Lucia and the baker Pier Luigi. The dishes on the countryside menu were appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. The photos speak for themselves and provide a precise idea of ​​the individual dishes. We will be back for sure and soon.

31/03/2024: This is THE restaurant, no ifs or buts. Too bad we didn't try the steaks, which they say is their specialty, but maybe it could be a good excuse to return. The restaurant is gorgeous, the perfect combination of elegant and rustic, perfect lights; the staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and cordial; the kitchen, but what am I telling you to do? If you pass through Montefalco you absolutely must eat here.

19/05/2024: Second time at the Alchemist. This time for dinner, we were very kindly welcomed, even though we booked very late, 5 minutes before arriving at the restaurant. They immediately bring water and menus. We order a platter of cheeses and cured meats for an appetizer, then a first course, fake carbonara and a burger. The very knowledgeable Sommelier directed us to an Umbrian Merlot that went very well with all the food. Everything was excellent, service, bill and food. The place is very nice. Highly recommended

20/05/2024: Small but characteristic place. Good quality food. Crowded at lunch. For us it was like finding a dune in the desert (the navigator had led us astray). You should advise if you do not want pepper in your dishes.

06/04/2024: The environment is beautiful and it’s comfortable to eat in the courtyard The food is also good and the price is OK. The beer braised pork knuckle is highly recommended. 1. Porchetta, grilled pork crispy skin 2. Handmade goose pappardelle 3. Beer braised pork knuckle 4. Assorted appetizers (ham and sausage) 5. Crispy-fried herb lamb chops. There are a few more dishes that I haven’t photographed yet.

Il gestore ti accoglie nel migliore dei modi , abbiamo preso bruschette al tartufo , strangozzi e gnocchi al tartufo il tutto con due ottimi calici di Montefalco!! 10/11/2023: Di passaggio in Umbria abbiamo fatto una sosta nel magnifico borgo di Montefalco. Abbiamo pranzato alla Bottega del Bove e acquistato anche da portare a casa gli stessi prodotti. Formaggi e salumi sono produzioni locali. Ottima anche la proposta di vino e olio naturalmente anch'essi della zona. La qualità è davvero molto alta. Martina gestisce con passione e preparazione il suo bel locale. Una bella scoperta. Merita sicuramente una visita.
