Typical Friulian trattoria where you eat well and feel like family. The meat is excellent. Typically Friulian!!!

Ristoranti a 4 Zampe Ristorante AL CACCIATORE Palazzolo dello Stella. Secondo appuntamento ieri sera sabato 24 febbraio di RISTORANTI A 4 ZAMPE . Il ristorante si trova a Piancada una frazione del comune di Palazzolo dello Stella nella bassa friulana. Eravamo in 17 persone con 14 nasoni. Il proprietario ci ha riservato una sala ad uso esclusivo pertanto dandoci la possibilità di portare tutti i nasoni che volevamo. Location: Il Cacciatore si trova in aperta campagna e distante dal centro abitato, in una strada di poco passaggio, pertanto ci devi venire apposta. Locale rustico e carino. Caminetto acceso , si stava bene e si poteva addirittura mangiare in maniche corte. Voto 7 Servizio: Titolare simpatico e disponibile come tutto lo staff pronto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Lenti però nel prendere le ordinazioni e come spesso capita chi ordina per ultimo inizia a mangiare quando i primi ad ordinare stanno aspettando il secondo. Voto 6 Cibo: Qui c'è poco da dire. Al Cacciatore si mangia bene dagli antipasti ai primi e ai secondi......speciale la carne di alta qualità. Tutti i partecipanti sono rimasti soddisfatti e non è cosa da poco !!! Voto 9 Prezzo: È vero.....Il Cacciatore non si trova in località turistiche o centri storici ma la materia prima di alta qualità costa per tutti. I prezzi sono onesti rapportati alla qualità dei prodotti. Voto 9 In conclusione se vi trovate in zona Palazzolo, Latisana o fate rientro da Lignano assieme ai vostri amici a 4 zampe fermatevi pure al Cacciatore qui si mangia veramente bene e si paga il giusto. Bravi. Continuate così.

Excellent restaurant! Very kind and attentive staff. Warm and welcoming place. Generous portions. Honest prices. We tasted the lard, the venison carpaccio, the frico, the tagliatelle with wild boar, the gnocchi with duck, the tagliatelle, the pickled cevo with polenta and 4 desserts! All very good! I recommend it and will definitely return!

Wild dishes... somewhere in the hinterland. Not a tourist hotspot. Map difficult to read as description is often in Friulan dialect. But every question was answered and the food was patiently explained to us. I had homemade linguine with deer ragu and it tasted amazing. Not overly gamey, but still recognizable as game. Wow.. My husband had perfectly grilled meat cut into small ribs, well seasoned with polenta... highly recommended for game and meat lovers.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per una cena in famiglia,locale molto bello,caldo e accogliente,abbiamo mangiato molto bene,dagli antipasti ai secondi che erano eccezionali!ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, personale gentile e disponibile, Ci torneremo

Ristorante Rueda Gaucha

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.
