Super choice of burgers with excellent ingredients, the fries are also delicious!

AL Rock Café is a place that reflects its name: rock music and themed decor convey a very rock atmosphere! The service was excellent: very kind and helpful in recommending beers and really quick in taking orders and bringing dishes. At the checkout we asked to pay by dividing the bill in half and from €61 they rounded us up to €30 each, it may not be much but it is a kind gesture much appreciated. As for the food, as I said we spent €61 for two having had: a medium beer each, onion rings, a hamburger each and a dessert each. I didn't expect a different price. However, I expected a better quality of food, especially regarding the onion rings and burgers, which should be the main dish. The onion rings did not appear to be homemade, but rather defrosted and not very well fried; they also lacked salt. The burgers on the menu were too many in my opinion: at first glance it seems like you have a lot of choice but then you realize that you have too much and that you can't even physically read all the types of sandwiches. However, in the end we had a pulled pork with TOMA, home made BBQ sauce and braised onions and an Angus brisket with grilled vegetables, dried tomatoes, pumpkin cream, rocket and cheese. The pulled pork was good, with an excellent smoked sauce that gave the right juiciness to every bite. The Angus brisket on the other hand was too little and dry, completely overpowered The burgers were served with rustic potatoes, good but a little bland and I also assume frozen (not homemade). Finally, the desserts, the real highlights: a violet semifreddo and a cake with a dark heart. Both desserts were prepared to perfection, with the semifreddo of the right consistency and temperature and with an intense violet aroma and the cake with a warm and soft heart, just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness of the chocolate. To conclude, AL Rock Café is a very respectable pub, with a suitable atmosphere and welcoming staff. Too bad for the burgers and especially for the fried foods which were not up to expectations. It's a bit strange for a pub like this, but really kudos to the desserts, they were totally worth it, they're probably the stars of the menu. All in all, I recommend giving AL Rock Café a chance, perhaps making a reservation because otherwise you are likely not to find a place on weekends.

Ampia selezione di birre e buona carne servita in diversi modi con la vasta scelta di hamburger. A volte difficile trovare posto

Locale arredato in stile rock, tavoli ben distanziati, servizio veloce e cameriere simpatiche e gentili. Ampio menù con tantissimi hamburger, ma anche primi e secondi, sia di carne che di pesce. Ottimo il bastone misto, veramente goloso e abbondante (22€ con patatine). Consigliato per gli amanti della carne e non solo!

Non lo conoscevo, mi ci ha portato un caro amico e ho trovato un ambiente informale e accogliente, personale simpatico e disponibile; ci siamo trovati subito a nostro agio. Birre ottime e hamburger eccellenti. Mi sa che ci rivedremo presto.
