Cantarana is always a guarantee, you eat very well and you find kind and friendly people. It is a family-run trattoria where authenticity and traditional dishes are the order of the day, absolutely worth trying are the legendary ravioli known throughout half of Italy but also the tagliatelle with mushrooms, the roast, the cima and the fried! The fried food is special and the desserts prepared by Sandro are also too good. C

Sono capitato per caso in questo ristorante a gestione famigliare , di antica tradizione , lo si denota dalle belle fotografie degli antenati che già conducevano il locale , molto pulito , gentili e sorridenti i proprietari, ho mangiato i ravioli , fatti in casa , più buoni che abbia mai assaggiato , ottimo anche il sugo di funghi , ho continuato con h a ottima cima alla genovese ( piatto della cucina tradizionale ligure ) veramente ottima !!! Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi bassi ! Bravi ! Tornerò sicurante e lo consiglio a tutti se passate da quelle parti …..

Ho pranzato spesso anche quest'anno (da maggio a ottobre) in questo ristorante familiare, da me già recensito negli anni scorsi. Confermo il giudizio pienamente positivo, già espresso negli anni scorsi. Sempre gentilissimi l'accoglienza e il sevizio. Ottima la cucina, se possibile ancora migliorata. Abbondanti i piatti. Prezzi molto contenuti (il miglior rapporto qualità/prezzo riscontrato in Liguria). Piatti particolari: i ravioli (suggerirei con burro e salvia a km 0), l'asado (ottima carne e ottima benissimo), la cime genovese e, in stagione, i funghi porcini trifolati (raccolti in zona). Freschi pomodori e insalata, patate lesse e spinaci cotti a puntino. Direi che la nuova generazione che ha preso il locale in mano da qualche anno continua bnissimo la tradizione della cara signora Maria, scomparsa qualche anno fa. Purtroppo quest'anno è scomparso anche il papà dei due figli che ne continuano l'attività.

18/02/2024: Everything perfect, the food, the service guys, the environment....what more could you want!
12/02/2024: Always a splendid location, personally the upholstery of the chairs and the tablecloths need to be modernized. Very efficient and friendly table service, except for the owner with her poor smile and cold welcome, an attitude that makes the atmosphere more gloomy and uncomfortable. Tasty dishes and right portions, improve plating and garnishment. Please note: tagliatelle del loggiato (specialty) clams - asparagus - bottarga. Delicious dish although inconvenient, 9 empty shells 3 clams. I reported it to the waitress, she cordially informed the kitchen and a separate portion of full clams was brought to me. Unprecedented professional gesture, I really appreciated it! :)

07/04/2024: Made us feel right at home and made recommendations that we loved. Food, service was amazing.
05/04/2024: This is quite a popular establishment that has been here for a while. It was recommended by our hotel and we were immediately welcomed by the super friendly manager/owner (?). They specialise in seafood and so we ordered the lobster pasta, seafood pasta and a mix grill of seafood items. Overall, the pasta was very good.. Especially the lobster pasta although my wife did not finish the pasta. The mixed grill was good but as seafood grill doesn't really involve alot of creativity in cooking, it was ok but not exceptional. Nevertheless the energy and friendliness of the manager really made the place special. Food was decently priced and their house wine was very worthwhile. We found the tiramisu to be too rich for our liking but it's great as well.
