Cuisine with real flavors like in the past, Alfredo the innkeeper is a friendly person, always ready to suggest the right dishes.
If you've never been, then I can't recommend you give it a try, you'll definitely be back. They are flavors that remain in your memory, like the Cacio e pere candies, my favorite first course.

Ottima cena in questo ristorante, che propone piatti tipici e offre un ambiente piacevole e familiare.
Il personale è cordialissimo e ti mette a proprio agio, i piatti sono buoni e ben preparati ed i prezzi sono molto bassi!

Birthday lunch....
I wanted to compliment Alfredo, the owner, for his availability, kindness and professionalism.
Everything was excellent... hospitality, quality, service and everything!!!!
I highly recommend but with my eyes closed...I followed Alfredo's advice for the menu and was completely satisfied.....
To be repeated... to be recommended....

If you are in the Viterbo area and end up in Acquapendente, don't skip the stop at Toscana, known as Il Toscano.
I hadn't been back for more than a year but I found the same formula: "Excellent food at a super affordable price"
The service is fast, organized and well looked after... but the plentiful and delicious food is their strength.
Varied appetizer, you can have various tastings brought to you, first courses, lots of flakes, ravioli, gnocchi, tagliatelle, with many sauces, wild boar, mushrooms, cheeses and more.
Second courses excellent cut with parmesan, with artichokes and pecorino, and many other very good types.
Make a reservation, they are always full.

Sono stato a cena in questo ristorante del centro di Acquapendente, legato all'omonimo hotel. Ho iniziato con un crostone con stracciatella di burrata calda e cipolla caramellata, e ho avuto modo di assaggiare anche l'antipasto dell'Aldina; come primo agnolotti speck e rucola con pachino e pinoli, ho assaggiato anche dei ravioli di ricotta e spinaci con crema di funghi porcini; conclusione con tagliata di controfiletto con carciofi grigliati e pecorino.
Piatti solo discreti, buon rapporto quantità-prezzo, servizio piuttosto lento. Complessivamente come da titolo più quantità che qualità.
