We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Alicanto Enoteca Restaurant in Rovigo, located in a discreet side street in the center of the city. As soon as you cross the threshold, you are greeted by a modern and elegant environment, characterized by careful attention to detail. The minimalist table, with a simple white runner on which cutlery, napkin and glasses are placed, creates a refined atmosphere. The service immediately stands out for its courtesy, professionalism and attention to the customer. We started our meal with an appetizer of fried calamari with broccoli and pumpkin cream: the fried food was perfect, the broccoli tender and well cooked, and the pumpkin cream was sublime, with a sweet, delicate and well-balanced taste. As a first course we enjoyed paccheri with octopus ragù, olives and broccoli: the paccheri were well cooked, the octopus extraordinarily tender and tasty, and the ingredients harmonized perfectly, although I would recommend slightly longer cooking for the broccoli. For the second course, we chose a slice of croaker with a side of potatoes: the fish was well cooked, without bones, delicate and tender, and the two sauces that accompanied it were simply delicious. To conclude on a sweet note, we savored a Marsala cream with crunchy pastries and berries, literally sublime, and a second dessert based on chocolate and walnut brownies, pear cream and pear soaked in mulled wine, with a particular and refined flavour. , appreciated above all by sophisticated palates. If you want to live an authentic experience, I highly recommend you visit the Alicanto Restaurant: here you will find excellent food, impeccable and attentive service. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Ottimo ristorante, prezzi ragionevoli in relazione alla qualità e buon servizio. Forse varrebbe la pena ripensare l'estetica delle sale.

Scelto all'ultimo momento e per caso senza conoscenza diretta salvo la lettura delle recensioni. Sinceramente è stata l'esperienza ristorativa più positiva degli ultimi anni. Ambiente curato e raccolto, con ottima insonorizzazione. Siamo stati accolti e seguiti dal gentile Alessandro, preparato, cortese e piacevole riferimento anche per i consigli proposti. Eccellente il cibo e la cottura della stesso (abbiamo scelto pesce) e la carta dei vini (abbiamo cenato con un ottimo Trento doc). Il conto è stato in linea con una ristorazione di alta qualità senza alcuna sbavatura e senza eccessi. Un riferimento certo per Rovigo e per noi da "riprovare" tutte le volte che sarà possibile. Complimenti sinceri, non è purtroppo sempre così.

Venerdi sera in occasione del pensionamento di un caro collega . Prenotiamo all Alicanto , locale in cui mai ero stato prima . Accoglienza ottima, bella location , servizio veloce e di qualità , cucina molto buona di pesce , titolare molto molto capace. Consiglio se si vuol passare una bella serata mangiando e bevendo bene .
