Bakari In Genova

We are travel writers and travelers. This was my first time visiting Italy and the only reason for my visit was the food. However, most of the food I ate in Italy was very salty. I thought it might be because my eating habits were different. Lastly, we visited a good, highly rated restaurant. It's here. The price of the course meal was very reasonable, and the plating and taste of the food were high-quality. I ordered risotto, but the rice in the risotto was undercooked and I couldn't eat it well, so the staff came and asked about the problem, and when I told them honestly, they made it again. It was a classy move, but the taste was salty. It was still undercooked. It may not suit Korean tastes, but compared to other restaurants, it is very good and the staff are very friendly. It was a good experience.

Classy restaurant. Truly a symphony of flavors and excellent quality raw materials prepared by a Chef who knows his craft. Extremely friendly and helpful staff in the room. Girls prepared in every respect. A beautiful place in the historic center of Genoa. WELL GOOD KEEP IT UP

Even outside we eat well. Thank you for the attentive service and the big smile when leaving which I still miss for a week! I just got a little cold!😔 ...the most beautiful city in the world !

I had an amazing experience in this restaurant. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with big smiles from the waitresses and from those in the kitchen. Although initially the food was not to our taste (and this is because we are not fans of seafood), the chef did not let us leave with an empty stomach. He insisted on cooking us something to our liking and the result was exceptional. The attention to detail, the friendliness of the waiters and the intimate setting made a part of our heart stay in Genoa, bringing the sun over an endless string of rainy days (literally, out of 6 days, 5 were rainy). Thank you very much.

Food experience overall was good. The soup, scallop, fish, sauces tasted well. Feedback: Reserved the table in advance, unsure why they will cramp me in a very tight corner beside the stair case. It’s really weird to pay close to 100€ per pax and sit beside a staircase where people walking up and down the stairs will have dirt flying into my food. Requested for change of table, offered me another cramp corner seat. Declined, willing to walk out and ended up sitting in a normal seat which was preferred. The entire night, no-one was given those two cramp and poorly positioned seats. Why me?

Sublime dinner accompanied by excellent wine. Excellent service, fair price for what we consumed.

Truly superb. Prices in line with the competition, spacious Art Nouveau style rooms. Very well trained, friendly and very friendly waiters. We savored the excellent fixed price menu: shame about the portions being a little "skinny" in my opinion.

Ci sono stato altre volte. Si mangia sempre bene, piatti ben curati e proprio belli da vedere. Devo dire che le altre volte ho mangiato meglio e pagato meno ma comunque merita. Unico appunto, piatto di pasta buona ma tre forchettate.... Tre di numero! Quando mi hanno chiesto se tutto andava bene non ho potuto non dirlo. Mi hanno ringraziato e si sono scusati (mi hanno anche offerto 2 bicchieri di mirto). Nessun problema può succedere Servizio ottimo, locale molto bello e accogliente. Comunque sempre consigliato. Buongiorno, leggo con estremo stupore la Sua risposta per diverse ragioni che qui di seguito riporto 1. dite che "non meritare questo punteggio", 4 stelle non sono abbastanza considerando l'accaduto? Ribadisco , 4 stelle 2. dite , "la porzione mi sembrava normale". Davvero? avete una concezione di normale alquanto vaga. ma non serve commentare ulteriormente, la foto parla da se. Si vede un filo di pasta in un piatto che più che una pasta sembra una zuppa al sugo di pesce. 3. ho ribadito nella mail che queste cose possono succedere, nessun problema 4. ho chiaramente scritto che vi siete scusati e che mi avete offeto due mirti (me li offrono di solito anche senza che accada questo) , peccato poi per ritrattare le quantità nella vs replica. 5. ho speso parole molto belle per servizio, locale, piatti. Cosa volevate di più, una statua? 6. ho concluso dicendo che lo consiglio e che rimane sempre uno dei miei 5 locali preferiti di Genova! Puntualizzato quannto sopra vi lascio con un consiglio, leggete bene le recensioni dei clienti prima di rispondere, controllate per benino le stelline (ribadisco, 4 ve ne ho date) e accettate le critiche in quanto avete chiaramente dimostrato un eccesso di presunzione. Le critiche se prese nella maniera corretta e soprattuto se non “distruttive” come era la mia servono a crescere e voi le potenzialità le avete e non potete che migliorare Detto questo, continuerò a consigliare il vs locale come ho fatto in tutti questi anni. Behind the appearance of a sophisticated restaurant lies a place that seems without infamy and without praise. My review pertains only to the La tradition menu, so I don't know if I would have eaten better if I had chosen something else. As for the above, I was not satisfied. The appetizer based on creamed stockfish arrived in the form of a mismatched pie with the potatoes with which it was combined and was also a little lacking in flavour. I can say the same about the first which was a dish of pansoti with walnut pesto, the workhorse of any self-respecting traditional Genoese menu but which in this case in my opinion did not represent it worthily. The second course based on sea bass was a copy of the starter, with identical ingredients. Not much else to add. The dessert on the menu was not available and they brought me a different one so I won't comment on it. Friendly but a little affected staff. The tables had a little too much “gold”. I won't go back, but that's just my opinion, just one of many.
