Die Wallfahrtskirche soll über einem von Strabon erwähnten Minerva-Tempel errichtet worden sein. Der jetzige Bau stammt allerdings von 1720, die Fassade gar von 1926. Besonders im Juli zieht es wahre Pilgerströme an. Es hält sich ein uralter Glaube, dass die Wallfahrt nach Leuca den Eingang ins Paradies garantiert.

Un lloc especial. Un espai obert, un santuari acollidor a la punta del taló d'Italia, a la interessant Puglia, que et connecta amb l'infinit. Tots els països tenen els seus finisterre que sumen histories, història i llegendes. És un bon lloc per esperar la posta de sol.

02/04/2024: No comment for the level of this pastry shop. They are at least ten years ahead of the others. There really is everything, especially for those who are allergic to gluten, eggs, milk... Unique vegan and gluten-free pasticciotto. (We ordered several to take home) We came from Umbria, with our child and Dalmatian and we were welcomed into a familiar and professional environment. Thank you for being so attentive to customers, especially those with special needs. I think we have many other pastry shops to learn from you.
