Prices are very high for very little. 7€ for a slice of bread with avocado... Even then, food was okayish at best. Banana bread was nice. The books was a nice touch at least so I gave it a 3.

This is a great restaurant because they have a combination meal that allows you try a good size portion of 3 different dishes for a very reasonable price. My husband and are both vegetarian and we each ordered completely different combinations, so there are a lot of veg options. Everything tasted really good and the atmosphere is very nice too.

Beautiful spot for a rainy day read.

Actually my favorite restaurant in Florence so far (inside a book store)! The food was well curated and carried out! I was impressed with the quality of the food and how reasonable the price was for dinner, 20 euro with 3 dishes (on one plate). Everything was excellent. Although the waitress did not explain to me how to eat that fresh pea (I thought it was decoration 😂) and also did not ask me if I liked the food, despite she did with other table in English (maybe because I was the only Asian in the restaurant). Many vegan options here.

Beautifully designed bookshop serving coffee and food. It’s a really calm, aesthetically-minded space. A good place to escape the crowds for a little while or browse some interesting books.

The quality and the staff are always at the top. I was a little disappointed by the smaller portions and the increase in prices compared to before. It has always been my favorite restaurant in Florence but I won't go back that often.

Se fosse solo una libreria, sarebbe un ottimo luogo dove passare un po’ di tempo sorseggiando un buon the tra ottimi libri d’arte contemporanea; se fosse solo un ristorante (che propone piatti vegetariani e vegani) sarebbe un buon approdo per chi cerca questo tipo di cucina: poiché è sia una libreria che un ristorante, il risultato è veramente buono. Il menù propone insalate, primi piatti, i cosiddetti special ed ovviamente i dessert, ed un a scelta intelligente è il cosiddetto “piatto unico” che prevede una insalata, un primo piatto uno special, acqua coperto, ad un prezzo molto buono: abbiamo scelto questa opzione, ed in particolare. Tra le insalate Cavolo nero (Cavolo, mele, noci, mandorle, cavolfiore, aneto, crema di senape, aceto e ceci), inalata siciliana (finocchi, arance olive, mandorle, uvetta, aceto e cipolle) ed il carpaccio di Avocado (avocado, misticanza, salsa di pomodoro, sedano e mandorle, limone e sesamo) Primi piatti: Tortelloni di formaggio gorgonzola e arance affumicate (pasta fresca, gorgonzola e stilton, burro, mostarda di arance, crema di finocchi e mandorle); Tortelloni di patate e zenzero (pasta fresca, patate, zenzero, salsa di pomodoro, mandorle, cumino, coriandolo, pesto di rucola, mandorle e foglie di sedano, erbe aromatiche) Special: Kofta (polpette di legumi e verdure, patate, coriandolo, cumino, cardamomo, zenzero, curcuma, ginepro, scalogno, sedano, panna di mandorle, peperone e cavolfiore); Dosha (crepe di farina di riso ripiena di zucca, porri, legumi, semi di senape, cumino, coriandolo, sesamo e prezzemolo; Seitan Masala (Seitan fatto in casa, farina di manitoba, aceto, soyu, pomodoro, peperoni, carote, latte di cocco, cumino, chiodi garofano, coriandolo, curcuma, alga Kombu, zenzero e aromi mediterranei, riduzione di balsamico, patate) Fuori menù i dessert (Torta Sacker vegana e Vino: Aglianico “l’Archetipo) Siamo stati più che soddisfatti di tutti i piatti provati, che sono la dimostrazione che, se fatta bene, la cucina vegana da ottimi risultati (i piatti, oltre che buoni, erano anche belli da vedere!), soprattutto se uno li prova senza preconcetti.
