If you like to stay for a night in a rustic place but with attention to detail in a very quiet village, with a beautiful story behind it... and recommended as a place... Mrs. Alessandra is very kind and friendly, available for any of your needs. .advise

We went on Sunday but, although the manager had assured us that the road was passable, it was a challenge to arrive in the snow and even more so to get down! Lunch made quickly without being able to enjoy Sunday and lunch: first and second courses brought together to send us away quickly! It would have been more correct to tell us to cancel instead of making us go there from Turin with the illusion that anything was possible. An adventure not to be repeated when it snows!

A beautiful place. 1350m up a mountain in an almost deserted historic village, this place is amazing. After a dramatic drive, you’ll receive the friendliest of welcomes. Love the fires burning in rooms on arrival, it’s really cost. And the food is delightful. Well worth a trip.

Kind welcome, carefully prepared dishes, as much local produce as possible at a reasonable price. I admire the courage to reopen in a mountain hamlet to revive it

Rooms are super cozy. Love the fires for a cold winters night. Really friendly people. Super fast WiFi despite the location. The village is tiny, clings to the side of the mountain, and is super atmospheric. Best of all, food is fabulous. Well worth a trip and making the effort to visit.

We often come back here for lunch and this time also for an overnight stay.
Pignoletto red corn polenta from Mulino della Bernardina is among the best and mostly gluten free appetizers. Less assorted desserts but bunet and panna cotta are never missing. Then, if there is something with gluten, they work hard and cook something delicious specifically (he made delicious cabbage capunet for me).
They also have rooms (beautiful and welcoming) and tomorrow morning I'm expecting a breakfast with homemade gluten-free banana bread. 🥰

Nice find! One of those few places where you eat really well, in a quiet and friendly environment. The menu is fixed: what is there and what you eat. Very few things but done well. The polenta concia is delicious. I also recommend the eclausina cake made from an ancient recipe. Excellent bunet, and bunet is a dessert that restaurants often fall on the banana peel. Theirs was really good. The portions are generous. 25 euros including wine, very honest. Very courteous staff. Simple, bright and warm environment. And after dinner, take a tour to see the mini exhibition in the barn and the house with the lights. A little walk with the starry sky.

After 10 km of trekking, eating here was a real blessing...lucky that we didn't have to face another climb afterwards. Easily reachable by car. Excellent choices of local raw materials
