A Long Term favorite of us. Hidden in the lovely tuscan Landscape Casa Masi offers tranquility, good food and great vines. We enjoyed every minute.

Very beautiful location. Dinner for 2 based on Florentine steak... good quality meat. Average price. Perhaps the preparation of some waiters needs to be improved.

We went to Casa Masi out of curiosity to try the fried steak... we waited a bit but it was worth it! Very good and at a fair price. Courteous and attentive staff, very nice environment!

Very nice environment and precise and clean service. To taste the Tuscan Florentine out of curiosity, although to my taste the classic one is better, perhaps not a lucky cut. Excellent first courses and desserts.

We had lunch in the lemon house of this rustic and very welcoming structure. The lemon house welcomed us on a cold and rainy day but the glass surface let in a lot of light as if we were outside. the heating of the room did not cause any problems, in fact at a certain point it was turned off before the heat became excessive. We got a taste of the superior service when we touched the really hot serving dishes. A mixed appetizer with ham accompanied by fried pasta, polenta with lard sauce, Tuscan crostini and a kind of micro-meatloaf with a very tasty green olive inside, to finish a crostini with melted pecorino, a focaccia with lard and pecorino and a small carpaccio on a bed of rocket scented with truffle flakes. As a first course we took gnudi in false ragù, very particular in which the balance of flavors did not cover, but rather enhanced, that of the gnudi. We also tasted the gramigna in a cheese sauce stirred directly into a very delicate half pecorino cheese. The portions were generous so much so that, afterwards, we only took a portion of fried artichokes ordered more as a delicacy than anything else and we didn't make a mistake because they were very crunchy and very dry. A final consideration on the service. Simple but elegant equipment with tablecloth and fabric napkins, the cutlery was of high quality and of consistent weight. We have already talked about the always hot service dishes. What remains to be noted is the friendliness and professionalism of Mrs. Anastasia and her very young colleague who provided above-average customer care. The bill was not very low but perfectly in line with the quality of the food and the service received. Conclusion: highly recommended

Siamo tornati a distanza di molti anni in questa bella realtà. Il cibo è buono, ottimi l'antipasto e la bistecca. Nella media i dolci. Buon servizio ma quello che merità di più, come sempre, è la location. Internamente bella atmosfera calda ed accogliente, gli esterni e la limonaia anche molto belli.

Ulteriore conferma: dopo anni e anni, sono riuscito ad assaggiare la bistecca fritta, solo perché fino a quel momento eravamo sempre andati in coppia o comunque in compagnia a cui non ispirava. Beh, è impegnativa, ma veramente particolare. Il resto è sempre tutto al top

07/04/2024: This is a place that may have certainly deserved its mentions in the Michelin guide over the years. But that was 2018 and before. I can see that there has not been much innovation in the last six years. I feel they should certainly innovate and stop riding on the coat tails of their past Michelin mentions. The Michelin guide is about paying homage to real tradition and constant culinary innovation. In 2024 this place is neither. The food was though well executed. The plating was outdated but everything was worth the visit.
04/04/2024: The best dish among all is bacalhau! Super flavorful, juicy and crunchy! But their beef pasta- beef is a lil dry and hard :S Seafood risotto is very interesting with the white sour cream. Wish they could have more seafood inside..

06/04/2024: Referred to by the lady where we are staying we had a very good time. Amazing Fiorentina...it looked like butter. Highly recommended. However, you need to book a few days in advance because it is always full.
03/04/2024: Great Tartufo Limone Ravioli and very friendly service. Nice view into the open kitchen!
