I visited Colline Emiliane with my wife and my best friend. I can say that we had a truly wonderful time at Colline Emiliane, starting with the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly and helpful staff leading to the great food. We had the pleasure of choosing from a wide variety of wines to accompany our selection of food from a fantastic menu. Everything we chose was great. The starters to share was fabulous, tortellini and the two types of slow cooked beef was heavenly delicious just melting in the mouth and even the dessert which we usually do not take because we are not into sweets.
We never had the feeling that we are in a restaurant but rather in one of our friend's house. The staff was never far away and yet not nosy giving us space.
Overall the best culinary experience that we had in Rome. Whenever I am back in Rome I'll make sure to visit Colline Emiliane again.

Over rated in general. The food was served fast, but the taste was average.
Maybe it had it times, but not anymore.
The place is small and indoors only on a small alley. But, of course, busy.
The images on social media are fake, the dishes look basic at best.

It is a family restaurant, which has been running the business for a long time. The food is great, the service is very friendly. The best are all the Emilian dishes, very rich cuisine, original ingredients. The prices are not cheap, but they deserve it. The restaurant couldn't be more unpretentious, in a good spot, but on a small street with an ultra-simple facade. But it's like this: ostentatious Rome is for stupid tourists, Rome for those in the know is very discreet.

I have rarely eaten so well, France included. A faultless one. The best of the best. antipasti, truffle gnocchi, veal, beef, desserts. UNAVOIDABLE !!!

Fantastic food, service, and wine. We didn’t have a reservation, but only needed a table for 2 and the maitre d got us in quickly. Everything we had was outstanding, so we went back again with a reservation. I would go out of my way to dine here!

This family restaurant is a pure marvel! I loved the family atmosphere that emanated from it. The nonna and the aunt who prepare the pasta and cakes. The grandfather who serves and the son who takes care of reservations. All were excellent. The food was exquisite. And I advise you to take the 4 delights tart which is sumptuous.

It is located a few steps from Piazza Barberini, in a narrow, dark and somewhat dirty street.
It is a very small restaurant and therefore it is necessary to book at least a week in advance.
It is certainly an excellent restaurant: very good food, excellent service but little atmosphere, given the very limited space and the proximity of the tables.
It provides classic Emilian cuisine at the highest level.
Try the homemade tagliatelle Bolognese and boiled beef with fruit mustard (fruit chutney).
The menu of dishes is not very extensive and this also applies to the desserts. For our dinner the choice was reduced to just two options.
The desserts were good but not memorable.
Prices quite high.
Good wine list.
Worth trying once for dinner.

Le Colline Emiliane, a due passi da Via Veneto e Via del Tritone, si sposano benissimo con i Colli Romani e questa Trattoria, già casa di Federico Fellini (cercate i suoi schizzi alle pareti) e di Aldo Fabrizi (chiedete a Luca aneddoti del Nonno) è la risposta alla ottima Tavola.
Prenotare è sempre una impresa (un Locale di due piccole salette e uno stretto laboratorio Pasta fresca) ma una volta riusciti non dimenticherete più i loro Tortellini in brodo, il loro Giambonetto (vitello cotto nel latte) lo Zabaione al Marsala (prenotatelo ad inizio pasto perchè potrebbe terminare prima).
Un ottimo rosso? scegliete Lagrein Cantina Rottensteiner.
Facit: riscalderà le fredde serate invernali
