Nice café at the Teatro Massimo Bellini opera house. By Italian standards it could be called cozy 😉 ​​Ice cream sundae and cappuccino with a view of the theater... perfect!

LP was right on this one: the almond granita is tasty! A bit better than the pistachio (I had both flavour, with pistachio atop the almond). Creamy and lighter than gelato but still nutty with bits.

The chocolate granita is delicious! You can enjoy it on the terrace of the ice cream parlor or on one of the benches in the square.

Tried the almond and pistachio granita, both excellent and of excellent quality. Very friendly service and fair price (3 euros each), the square in front is also very beautiful

Le Comis Ice Cafe est une excellente adresse pour un bon goûter par exemple. Il est situé sur la place du théâtre, au calme, sa terrasse est agréable et l'ambiance est décontractée. Le personnel est accueillant, le service est très rapide, le menu et le choix de parfums de glace sont variés, et les prix sont raisonnables. Personnellement, j'ai adoré ma glace et surtout la brioche, vraiment très moelleuse (la meilleure brioche que j'ai pu manger en Sicile).

Quick and professional service, the almond granita was delicious - the best I’ve had anywhere in Italy. The fresh orange juice was very nice too. Very good value - reasonable price especially given the very delicious servings. Lots of space, good seating with shelter from the sun. Staff friendly and approachable.

01/04/2024: The lady and I went to this charming little place for the Easter holidays. Courtesy, quality and reliability. The da Rinuccio restaurant is a must for lovers of "Mongibello" and the magnificent Sicilian land.... The mushroom arancinetto is recommended... Perfect frying and a mix of tradition and innovation
