Da Noi Osteria Pizzeria In Venezia

Not sure about this one - we stopped here due to the good reviews and we were starving. We’ve got the insalata mista as an appetiser (it was ok) and the caprese salad which was 16.6 euro with a very small round piece of mozarella. Probably I would pay the same price in Belgium where I live :) definitely expected something more and more qualitative olive oil for the salad. I’ve got the spaghetti alle vongole, which were basic, missing a bit of flavour - and they arrived 10 minutes before my partner’s calzone, which was inconvenient. The veggie calzone had a lot of cheese, spinach, zucchini but lacked flavour and the side sauce was not doing the trick for that. We did appreciate the overall prices (except for the small caprese) but would not return here.

The jolliest of places in the hood. The owner, Victor, runs around in balleatic moves taking care of everyone, bringing home made bread, organic olive oil, more than decent pizzas, and huge salads to the happy punters. It’s a buzzy, happy place that took excellent care of us.

What a lovely place! Cozy, warm, and superfriendly staff. Everything we ate (gnocci in 4 cheese sauce, pizza and tiramisu) was delicious, and my thick hot chocolate at the end was the perfect, satisfying finish. Thank you for a great experience and being one of the highlights of our day! 5 stars well deserved!

Pizza is perfect, some of the waiters speak good English and the menu offers many options.

Always a good choice, a nice welcoming place for a casual dinner. Great host and service, good Italian hospitality! Enjoyed our food, well prepared and delicious as always, not our first time there.

Really cosy atmosphere, tasty food and good price, 100% recommend eating here. The calzone, lasagne and tiramisu were particular highlights! Owner was also really friendly and chatty, which added to the great atmosphere. Also, when we were there a family came back in for food for a second time, so that says it all really. If you want quality, freshly cooked food, away from the crowds around St Marks Square, then you couldn’t do much better than Da noi Osteria.

Wonderful evening. The owner here is great fun and makes you know he cares. Both had pizza and lots of wine. Good service. Will return next time we are in Venice.

Charming, honest service and reasonable is best to describe the restaurant. We stumbled on this restaurant having researched where to be positioned on NYE for the Venice fireworks. Considering we had no booking it was a gamble, but it paid off as the restaurant was full but allowed us to dine. They had a NYE menu. The menu was only in Italian so for me this was a good sign pre ordering. Having finally understood what the offering was we decided to order two pasta dishes and two meat and these did not disappoint. The pasta was tasteful and very well presented. The meat also was full of flavour. We decided to order a tiramisu and Pannacotta and these were so nice. You could tell they were home made recipes. We had two beers, aperol spritz and two cokes and the total bill was 138 euros. Very reasonable especially taking into account the positions and taste of the food! I would recommend this place as it is a traditional restaurant and definitely not a tourist trap location.
