In the superb setting of a unique historic center, a restaurant that I will remember for its attention to detail.
Details in the choice of furnishings, modern but sober, which blend perfectly with the historical context of the location.
In the attention dedicated to the choice of crockery and the presentation of the food.
In choosing the menu, refined but simple, suitable to satisfy various types of requests.
In the preparation of the portions, cooked and seasoned with care, abundant but not excessive, perfectly digestible despite the caloric content of some typical ingredients of the Tuscan Maremma.
In the attention dedicated to the customer by the staff, who are prepared, available and smiling.
In prices, adequate for the quality of the food and the services offered.
This time I enjoyed the pappardelle with wild boar, the pici with bacon and pecorino and a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses.
I will be back to try the rest.

Unexpected place found on a rainy evening where we didn't know where to eat, but then thanks to a little research on the internet we found this restaurant.
They welcomed us in a very kind way, an intimate place like a village bar. With the kindness of the staff, making me aware of my wife's nickel allergy and celiac disease, the staff came to our aid with promptness and availability, non-trivial things given that both my wife and I have been chefs for more than 12 years.
We ate really well and above all we were recommended a sweet wine from the area which really hit the spot, in fact we have another one to take away.
Definitely recommended place for the attention to detail and the quality of the products, we still remember the flavor of the baked potatoes.

Sito nel centro storico di Pitigliano (e quindi si raggiunge a piedi), è un locale carino, con personale educato e cordiale e dove si possono mangiare dei buoni pici guanciale e pecorino o dei classici pici all'aglione (oltre alle pappardelle al cinghiale). Il mio errore è stato di prendere la tagliata come secondo: la carne non era quella di una bistecca e non era nemmeno tenera...non un buon piatto insomma. La crepe nutella e mascarpone mi ha poi riconciliato col mondo.

Abbiamo mangiato sia a colazione (caffetteria convenzionata con il bed e breakfast dove alloggiavamo) che a cena. Mangiato molto bene (pici e pappardelle) e coccolati dal personale gentile e cordiale. Bella e buona esperienza!
