Best local food in town. You can find traditional Trieste's culinary dishes. It's a "buffet" so it's a casual dining atmosphere, with people eating while standing as well. At the counter. Tables are available outdoor and indoor as well. During lunch time is packed by workers of the area.

If you decide to eat typical Trieste dishes at a good price and with excellent quality, this is the right place. The internal space is sparse but it is right for eating on the fly and moving immediately. There is also the possibility of eating outside under some umbrellas.

31/03/2024: EXCEPTIONAL restaurant!! Exquisite cuisine, top service, super friendly and helpful owner! All the dishes we tasted were delicious and the attention shown in recommending the right wine was greatly appreciated
30/03/2024: Scamoi tagliolini and truffle UNMISSABLE, good octopus but it didn't completely convince me, mackerel you absolutely must try (well done). The welcome and pre-dessert 'caresses' were much appreciated! good
