Around Matera we found a cave-style restaurant, where we ate some very good pizzas with local products! I don't think they are the best pizzas in the area, but the space, the service and the good product make a perfect pairing!

Beautiful place, welcoming, well looked after, excellent food, we had the really good pizza and amazing sausage and potatoes. Very friendly and kind guys.

10/02/2024: I went to this place for a buffet dinner which included a DJ set & drinks. The place is really beautiful and refined, with attention to the smallest details. It is located among the stones of Matera so you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the landscape which offers a truly unique setting both during the day and in the evening. The venue has several large underground rooms all communicating with each other where you will have the pleasant sensation of losing yourself and finding yourself again. However, I don't want to describe it too much so as not to ruin the surprise for you. Dear Pietro will also take care of welcoming you with kindness, availability and elegance.
03/01/2024: Wonderful location in the heart of the Sassi of Matera. We chose the tasting menu: food studied and cared for even in the plating. The only "criticism": I would venture more with the flavours. Courteous and elegant but not intrusive service. The owner eventually took us on a "tour" of the stone, showing us real works of art and hidden places in the restaurant. Super recommended

05/04/2024: This place was recommended to us by the manager of the camper area where we stopped: a beautiful, well-kept and above all clean environment. We were able to enjoy some excellent local food presented with a nice twist. The staff were very welcoming, competent, professional. Very satisfied with the experience. To be recommended.
31/03/2024: Very nice, clean and well-kept place in Matera. Staff very courteous and attentive to customers. A special thank you to Marcello (we are the Novara family), very knowledgeable, precise and very kind. The food was very nice and delicious. I recommend everyone who comes to beautiful Matera to come here to eat. We will definitely be back 😊
