Excellent experience at Enoteca i 5 Frati. Perhaps a little late for lunch, the owner didn't hesitate to seat us. Given the time, we didn't order much but the few dishes we ordered left us with a good memory of the restaurant. Very nice place, with stove and/or fireplace in the rooms giving that extra touch to the location

Soncino, a medieval village in the heart of Lombardy, houses a special gastronomic restaurant: the Enoteca i Cinque Frati. Once you cross the threshold, you are surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The environment is cared for down to the smallest detail. The girls in the room, kind and helpful, immediately put customers at ease, guiding them in the choice of dishes and wines. The cuisine is a strong point of the restaurant. The dishes, prepared with seasonal and high quality ingredients, are a real delight for the palate. I had the opportunity to taste the risotto with herb pesto: a perfect combination of flavors and textures, which won me over at the first taste. The cellar, the pride of the place, boasts a truly extraordinary selection of wines, capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates.

Lunch, during a visit to the beautiful and very rich Soncino. I 5 Frati is an enchanting little place, where you drink really well: the selection of wines is very interesting. On the food side, the choice is not to offer an excessive menu but a few well-made things, an objective only partially achieved: the quality and quantity of the dishes are decidedly subdued compared to everything else. I won't go into the economic issue, in the historic center you might spend a little more, but given the enchanting location, the superlative service and the attention to the cellar, the expectations were much higher.

C'e' scritto che si chiude alle 15.00. Siamo passati alle 14.10 il Sabato e ci e' stato detto con una ridicola risatina che ORMAI la cucina e' chiusa.

Capitati per caso cercando l'enoteca siamo passati rapidamente al menù del ristorante, che offre una scelta contenuta di primi ma più abbondante di antipasti, secondi e dessert (ed ovviamente di vini da abbinare). Ottima cucina, ambiente accogliente, servizio efficiente e prezzo adeguato. Da (ri)provare.

Locale al centro di Soncino, vicino al castello. È un enoteca, vasta scelta di vini e purtroppo pochi tipi di pietanze. Tagliere di affettati e formaggi molto freschi e di qualità, pappa al pomodoro e gnocchi abbondante e buoni. Carino l'ambiente esterno, staff cordiale. I prezzi sono un po' sopra la media. Da provare.
