Locale intimo e qualità elevata. Non esiste freezer, si mangia solo il fresco. Salumi speciali in antipasto , brasato al montepulciano, pannacotta con fragoline cotte nel vino. Tutto accompagnato da un interessante rosso maremma della cantina Capua ( sangiovese,merlot,petit verdot). La discrezione e la competenza di Francesco, oste di una volta, fanno il resto. Bravo !

Se cercate la qualità qui è di casa,Francesco non sbaglia un colpo. A parte l’ottima bollicina consigliata tutto speciale partendo con il petto d’anatra affumicato,i tordelli carrarini,il brasato con polentina e dulcis in fundo la selezione di formaggi. Uno dei punti cardini della ristorazione carrarese,lunga vita all’Enoteca Velia!

Fantastic evening, wine bar, good wine, simple but very high quality food. Service a little slow, just to relax a bit, in reality everything was perfect without rushing to have time to enjoy the food and wine. The mixed starter is absolutely worth trying, with fabulous goose salami and excellent cheese tasting. Intimate, relaxing environment, with the right music in the background.

24/03/2024: Just across the Cerreto there is a restaurant that is legendary to say the least. The entire menu is homemade with excellent quality raw materials, from the first courses with tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (strictly from the Tuscan side) to the second courses with wild boar so good that it doesn't seem wild. Amazing desserts, uniquely kind waiters. The best on the Ss 63 from Guastalla to Aulla
