19/03/2024: My visit to the "Mamma Perdonami" restaurant in Montegrotto Terme turned out to be a pleasant experience, characterized by a welcoming atmosphere and good Italian cuisine. Situated in a fairly central position, this venue stands out for its informal environment which makes it ideal for various occasions, from outings with friends to quieter moments.
The restaurant's decor deserves a note of appreciation for its refined and detailed style, which contributes to creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The presence of an outdoor area adds a further plus point, offering the possibility of enjoying meals outdoors during the nicest days.
The place conveys a feeling of cleanliness, although the space between the tables is not particularly large, a balance is maintained which allows you to maintain a certain intimacy. The staff proved to be courteous and friendly, an element which, together with the speed in taking orders and serving dishes, contributed to making the evening even more pleasant.
The menu offers a balanced selection of dishes, including regional Italian specialties and pizzas, ensuring good variety without being excessive. The quality of the food was good: well-prepared dishes and authentic flavours, although, in all honesty, I didn't find anything that clearly distinguished them from other good dining experiences.
The place also welcomes animals, a detail that some will appreciate.
To ensure a place at the table without waiting, it is advisable to book in advance. This small measure can significantly improve the dinner experience, allowing you to enjoy your meal as soon as you arrive, without the worry of having to wait to be seated.
In conclusion, "Mamma Perdonami" offers a solid dining experience in a pleasant and casual environment. Although I have not found any exceptional elements that clearly distinguish it, the restaurant undoubtedly represents a reliable choice for those looking for good Italian cuisine in Montegrotto Terme.
12/03/2024: The place is very nice and welcoming, and the offer of first courses, second courses and pizzas definitely has its reason. Both pizzas we tried were good and with quality ingredients; I think they cook them in an electric oven, but frankly the dough is excellent and doesn't make you regret cooking in a wood oven. The only thing that makes you turn up your nose a little is the fact that they all cost €14; perhaps it would be appropriate, in addition to the choice of special ones, to also include some classic pizzas on the menu to charge a little less.
