I'm not Umbrian and I'm not from Bevagna, so the judgment isn't biased or parochial. This place was suggested to me for an evening and I must say that the experience was more than excellent. I don't think you find a couple who run a place like this often. He is a true showman of the room, cultured, ready on all the dishes he offers and on the ingredients used, as well as on the pairings of beers or wines. She is the creator of fantastic dishes prepared on the spot, with skill and passion, what was found in the "home kitchen" but applied this time to the restaurant's cuisine. The union of flavors and ingredients at km 0 and you will not find large-scale retail products!
Not to mention sweet coffees and bitters that you will hardly find on the market.
I highly recommend trying their cuisine, for lunch or dinner, and rest assured that you will find what they explain to you on your plate!
Trust, transparency, originality these are their fundamental cornerstones.
And I wish them every luck in this project they have undertaken, because it is a revolution in the concept of catering, a return to the origins of our cuisine!

A magical evening in this place that was able to combine the kindness and helpfulness of the service, the passion for one's work, the attention to 0 km products and the creativity of the combinations. Tasting the beef with Jerusalem artichoke and apricots felt like I was entering a fairy tale!

We stayed at the Floyd on Saturday evening and had a lovely evening. What brought us there was the large choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes, but our expectations were far exceeded. All the dishes were delicious, perfect frying, excellent tasty sauces, tasty soups and excellent desserts. I loved that bell note in the dishes, but I'm biased. In addition to the food, the other fundamental component of the evening, what made the dinner an experience in all respects, was the innkeeper Crescenzo. With simplicity and kindness he was able to convey to us all the love for what he and Alessandra do, as well as the love for the latter. I highly recommend going there, we will definitely be back.

Grazie a Crescenzo e Alessandra per aver creato questa piccola meraviglia, piatti originali cucinati con cura, prodotti selezionati e dì qualità, lista vini e birre da perdere la testa…. The best beer selection in Umbria and super food as well and all wrapped up in one bar in Bevagna. With so many beers available have a chat with the owner and narrow down the options and if you like Heavy Metal music as well that's another of his passions. Great night guaranteed

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to have met Crescenzo and Alessandra, the owners of this small restaurant in the heart of Bevagna. We were welcomed and pampered by these people who, in addition to being humanly profound and in love with life, are also fantastic cooks and connoisseurs of good food (and beer). Crescenzo loves his job and transmits it in the passion with which he describes the dish before serving it and Alessandra orchestrates foods and spices in a masterful way! We discovered new drinks and experimented with new flavors and unexpected combinations which framed our trip out of town in the best possible way. Floyd-style pasta is without a shadow of a doubt the strong dish, together with seasonal soups and we couldn't help but finish lunch with a chocolate cake accompanied by coffee which, as a good Neapolitan, Crescenzo rigorously created with the mocha, making the an even more familiar and intimate experience. The products all come from small companies precisely because behind the owners' choice there are ethical values which they do not renounce, without compromising on quality, which to say being excellent is an understatement! At the end of our experience the guys offered us some bitters (the limoncello they produce is exquisite) and although we didn't order any type of beer, Crescenzo and Alessandra offer a list of beers that would be the envy of breweries that sell niche bottles and non-commercial. We felt at home for a moment and we certainly recommend everyone who is in the area to go to Floyd!
