Gasthaus Schwarzer Adler In Caldaro sulla strada del vino

Surprisingly good and good quality food. We had Schlutzkrapfen and beef goulash with bacon dumplings. Both tasted really good! The service was also very good. A fork fell down and was replaced in what felt like seconds. Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit sobering, especially if you only get a table in the bar area. Unfortunately, like in a village pub, the bar guests are also there for beer/wine after work. Of course it was very loud.

I can recommend this Gasthaus. Very friendly service. Tasty local food. The portion size is not so big for some dishes. But the taste was great.

We were in Kaltern for two days last week and ate at the Schwarzer Adler on both evenings. The coleslaw and the Schlutzkrapfen were a poem... everything else tasted very good too. We only know Kaiserschmarrn better. We thought the service was great: very nice ladies, quick, friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for the two lovely evenings!

Cool, cozy family business... very nice with the guests and the food is perfect

The food was ok - but nothing special. Unfortunately, all the kitchen exhaust from fries and the like is in the economy. We cried our eyes out from the smell and left immediately after eating. It would be more comfortable if you could enjoy a glass of wine after dinner without being overwhelmed by the fumes from the kitchen.

Sehr gute Küche gehobene bürgerliche Speisen. Südtiroler Spezialitäten und hervorragende Pasta. Top Leistung zum sehr günstigen Preis. Personal sehr aufmerksam, freundlich. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Meine Top 3 Empfehlung in Kaltern in diesem Segment. Wir kommen immer wieder.
