Gattò Bistrot In Portici

One of the best places in all of Portici and the entire province of Naples. The environment is super clean and the kittens are adorable. Both the owner and the other girls who serve the tables are uniquely kind and make you feel welcomed from the first moment. The menu (both that of desserts and that of drinks including beers and soft drinks) is very sophisticated, changes from time to time and above all all the ingredients and products are of certified organic origin. We can't wait to go back!

Entering Gatò Bistrot means experiencing a 360-degree sensorial experience. The interior is well-kept, fragrant and extremely welcoming. The very kind staff makes you feel immediately at home, introducing you to the furry guests and explaining the menu! You can interact with cats, paying attention to the rules to leave them their quiet spaces. The food is delicious, with particular care and attention for vegan or lactose intolerant guests: you can feel that they are top quality products. Price normal for the service offered. I will go back with my friends!!

Less than 10km away from the busy Naples city centre is this beautiful cat cafe. Unfortunately for us, only 2 out of 4 cats were chilling at the cafe’s area as the other 2 were away in their rest rooms. However, I would recommend anyone who is a cat lover to visit this place as it is impeccable clean and they offer delicious cakes and a large variety of craft beers too. Our host, who spoke very decent Italian language turned out to be an American citizen surprisingly. She was super friendly and helpful and went through explaining their cat’s history. We will definitely return if we ever make it back to Naples ! In the meantime, thumbs up Gattò Bistrot 😻

I was again a few days ago and I repeat what I have always thought: It is a magical place. When I need to get away from the chaos of the city, I take refuge in Procolo and his wonderful friends. The owner Valentina was courageous and believed in the possibility of carrying on an unconventional business, with all the difficulties involved. It is useless to talk about the food and the service, all exceptional. An honorable mention also to the legendary Ciancio, who is always in our hearts ❤️

The place is very clean, the environment is welcoming and pleasant. The owner is very kind, and is at the complete disposal of customers, she is adorable like the local cats. We needed a place like this in Campania. 😻☺️

It was great to stay there, especially with the cats. I thought they cooked meat, but instead it was all vegetarian. The food had a peculiar taste, but good.
