Family-run bakery in the heart of Florence. They have an amazing selection of pastries. Small inside, but their service is fast and friendly. Definitely try out their biscuits. The bakery can be closed randomly on some days.

Very popular among tourists - we had to wait in a queue. The pastries here are good and we had both savoury and sweet ones. It's a good place for a pit stop.

The pistachio cream cannoli is highly recommended. Very soft cream. Price 3.50 euros but they are very filling.

Tried both sweet and savory, both excellent. Space cantucci, finally pistachio ones too. Friendly and super nice owner! We went back twice because once is not enough!

I went to this place because I wanted to eat cannoli, but the pistachio cannoli was just so-so. The shell wasn't very crispy. I didn't take a picture, but I also bought a piece of spinach pastry, and surprisingly, the spinach pastry was very delicious! It's not a place worth visiting to eat, but I think it's worth a try if you're around!

I had seen reviews of Gino's bakery and when in Florence recently we headed across the Pontevecchio to find our delicious lunch. everything looked so good. all was delicious. lovely almond pastries, cannoli, slices of pizza and lots of other things. best lunch option for us. totally recommend.

10/03/2024: Here it is worth saying that good wine comes in small packages. There are few places available, it is advisable to book.
04/03/2024: Incredible experience with a magical atmosphere. We opted for the tasting menu they offer for lunch and it was a climax of flavours, starting from their welcome to dessert (something incredible). It was great fun seeing the chefs at work and being able to chat with them, the very kind and super helpful waitress helped us choose the wines to match. The only "negative" note was the chicken curry (there was no lamb that day) which was excessively spicy, a shame because the dish was delicious but we weren't able to fully enjoy it.
