Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, nice people, good food although I would have liked a few more dishes from Salento and not just from the Gargano, however. Cold cuts, meats and cheeses were all of high quality. To be recommended and to return, well done.

I knew this place existed but had never had the opportunity to go there. Passing through Arona on my way back from Meina to visit relatives, I stopped to try the cuisine with my whole family. I must say that the atmosphere takes you back to the years when the boat was in service. The staff, kind and knowledgeable, were able to best advise us on the food without hiding a streak of "familiarity" that accompanied the lunch well. Generous portions and freshly prepared excellent desserts and friendliness completed a truly spectacular meal. Not often at the end of a lunch or dinner when we get to the fateful question asked by the staff "how did it go?" I replied I AM HAPPY because a good meal is often just good and this in itself is an excellent thing but you're rarely even happy (and as sated as a little calf :P). We will come back for sure.

TASTY AND SUGGESTIVE For years I had been wondering who would take over this magnificent location and on Sunday I had the pleasure of finding out. Authentic Apulian cuisine enjoyed on a steamer at the lake, what a great idea. I had lunch at Battello di Arona and it was a very satisfying experience. The location: unique, the furnishing details are particular, the boat style is respected with a shabby chic and slightly kitsch touch that gives the atmosphere authenticity. The food: we decide to take the recommended bombette (the chef's workhorse) of typical Apulian rolls with typical cheese inside (juicy) and flavored baked potatoes on the side (very tasty) all accompanied by a glass of prosecco . For dessert I opt for a pistachio pasticciotto (soft and well filled) The service: very attentive and professional, the service is informal and polite. I will definitely return and have already recommended it to some friends
